I've done a search for this, but was unsuccessful. I wanted to find out if any Florida Resident AP holders out there have booked the 4/3 deal. Did it come out to be a good deal to you since you have to buy a 1 day tix? We do not currently have APs yet, but were going to get them before our stay. I know you can use the value of the tix with the 4/3 deal to upgrade, but is it a good discount since you are paying for regular rate tix and not discounted Fl. Res. tix? I know this probably makes no sense to anyone reading this, because I am having a hard time explaining. Sorry for that.

I have also been trying to figure out if the 4/3 deal is better than the 40% off room only deal, especially if staying at a moderate or deluxe.

Any help would be appreciated. We are looking forward to going to Disney, but obviously want to save as much $$ as possible.

I recall reading here that if you do want an AP and book the 4/3 free with a noexpiring pass and upgrade once you use the AP you get the best deal with tickets since you will get the 7 day non expiring for the cost of a 4 day non expiring pass. When you upgrade after you use the pass, you will have the 7 day cost applied toward the cost of the AP. That's what I would do. I don't know about the FL resident upgrade since I don't live there but I would guess it works the same. Hope this helps. There is an example as to whether or not it's worth it to do the 4/3 free on Mousesavers.com. It does appear to be better than AP (or FL res) discounts to me. YOu should check out the website.
