Have you used snack credits to create "light" meals that your family can split between larger scheduled meals during the day? We have two small children so can easily split between the four of us.
Some examples I saw that might work were:
Liberty Square at MK:
Baked potato w/cheese
Fruit Cup
Carrot Sticks
France at WS:
Ham and Cheese Croissant was listed in Sticky Thread as a "snack"
Any others?

I think the french toast loafs and cinnamon rolls at the MK bakery would be enough to split for breakfast

I agree on the breakfast items for sharing.
Also Casey's corn dog nuggets are a good one, with some french fries and cheese sauce.... yummy !!

The ham & cheese croissant in France is a snack, but it's a small one, maybe four or five adult bites.
We each got a ham & cheese, then split a chocolate mousse for dessert, Three snack credits for two adults, already had a water bottle left from earlier in the day.

I have two ways that I think of them
At Home: They're premade peanut butter sandwiches for people who are too lazy to spend the 15 seconds to slap some peanut butter between two pieces of bread. Overpriced.
Vacation: Probably would come in handy. I still wouldn't search them out. My kids love pb&j but I'm bringing a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter to keep in the room.
They also have them in peanut butter & jelly, plain jelly or cheese

Ahhh. Thanks! This is how I did DL 20 years ago (single w/a child): brought bread, pb, and jelly; ate one per day reducing meal costs. It worked for me at the time. ;)

I haven't done it yet but I printed out the list of snacks for each park and place that I wanted and plan to do this, especially if my DD doesn't want to get up early enough to eat a full breakfast at the food court.

During my last visit DHS had containers of celery and carrot sticks with dressing/dip available as a snack option.

There is a sticky thread "2009 Confirmed Snacks included in the Dining Plan" in the top section of the list of threads for the Disney Dining Plan. It has an extensive listing.

That's where I got it. I edited out what I didn't want and printed it out:thumbsup2
Also remember that leftovers from dinner are an excellent breakfast. Always take the rolls/bread that are leftover and any meat. It makes an excellent sandwich in the AM.
