I'm glad to see there's at least 3 other people interested in this show! call me a reality show freak, but I was so looking forward to the 2nd Mole and then they yanked it in the fall, just as I was getting into it and formulating my theories.
Thanks for the reminder! I've missed this show a lot!:)

Ooooh, thanks Aahmom! I forgot all about this show and I was so bummed when they yanked it off the air. Are the two episodes tonight reruns of the first two episodes?

Two great episodes tonight! I felt SO bad when everyone thought their luggage was burned!!! Can't wait to see next week's episodes!
Yes, I like this show too. Boy, I would NOT want to be on it though.....you can't trust anyone at anytime.

I was really bad at the last one too, Beth. I hate how they tease you and give you hints on how it could be almost everyone--makes it too hard for me to figure out! :D
I kinda' want to guess someone like the navy guy--someone who hasn't been in the limelight much yet. But I'm sure I'll change a million times before the end of the season!

I fingered the mole on the first installment of Mole I... dumb luck you say? To prove to all of you it was no fluke, I'll go for two... it's the crybaby Spanish Teacher... for the same reason I pegged the first one... Me think she doth protest too much... and who in their right mind would split a pair of threes... write it down boys and girls... el teacho de Spanisho... my second choice would be the Admiral but that would be way too obvious... Adios.
KaraKW
05-29-2002, 06:43 AM
At this point in time, I, too, think it's the Spanish teacher. The first Mole's name was Katherine. This one's name is Katie. Hmm... coincidence? Possibly.... She's so emotional and appears so "innocent" and "naive" that she'd make a great mole. Some people are trying too hard to act mole-like (like Elavia). Katie was able to sabotage the game in the Blueberry Game and yet appear like it wasn't her fault -- she was "tricked" into it. BUT, having said that, I will add that she does seem to be very visible for a mole. I would think that the mole would be someone who'd fly more under the radar. But, hey, it's all part of the strategy and using what people assume against them, right?
BTW, I could not stand the constant smirk that Lisa had on her face last night when Darwin and Katie were being informed about how they "fell" for the Blueberry Trick and the other two had been exempted. If they showed her disgusting "I'm-trying-to-contain-it-but-just-can't" smirk one more time I was going to scream!

I watched and I thought the admiral too but I think I am with the spanish teacher as well. Not sure how it will work out but if I can remember to watch next week and not just the last episode it will be good..LOL

06-04-2002, 06:46 PM
I guessed the mole last season before the first show even started. When they were introducing the people in the begining I said, "That's her."
This time I'm really torn between two people though. My first instinct said to choose Lisa. The last mole was an attorney and so is she...and who would be a better mole than an attorney? Then it came to me, a Magician. So then I started thinking Rob. So my guess is either Lisa or Rob.

Okay, now i'm thinking the mole is either Rob or Heather or Darwin.
The reason I added Heather to my list tonight was because before the second show started they said, "Look for clues to the identity of the mole." One thing I noticed about Heather was when she asked who had never changed a tire and who hadn't recieved any exemptions she was the only one to raise her hand. I'm thinking that might have been a hint.

Isn't this version of the Mole a repeat? I remember seeing the episode where they were battling on the logs with Little Jane and Little John sometime last year. When DH sat down last night he remembered it too. I did not watch it all the way through to the end though.

The first 3 shows were reruns, it was abruptly cancelled when it aired last year. They are just now re-airing the whole season.

06-05-2002, 06:45 AM
I'm thinking Katie just because she overreacts and cries like the mole from the last one. I thought Darwin for a bit too. I was thinking it should be a man this go around, BUT they would think we think that, so I am back to Katie!!:p
I did have the mole pegged on the last show, but not until they were down to about 6 players.

Another Mole fan here... and here are my thoughts..... I doubt that they would chose a mole who is alot like Katherine from last year. I think it will turn out to be someone completely different - probably one of the guys.
With that said, I think that Dorothy is very suspicious because of her answers last night in the mind games. Either she is very smart, very lucky, or she's the Mole. I'm also suspicious of Al, Bribs and Heather for various reasons.
As for the clue in each episode... does anyone have any ideas?? I think the guess about Heather being the only one to raise her hand was a good guess. Does anyone remember the clues from last season?? I remember it had something to do with the number "4" was used alot for Katherine. ?????
This show drives me crazy if I think about it too much! :)

I've been enjoying the episodes so far--this is my first season watching. I really wonder about Elavia; I can't decide if she is the mole, or is just trying to make everyone think she is. But she seems to be intentionally misleading/losing a lot. The Dam question (LOL) she received seemed pretty straightforward, and she got that wrong. And on the Little Jane/Little John challenge, she appeared to just take a dive. Who knows. LOL I was glad to see both Lisa and Patrick go last night, though. They both annoyed the heck out of me. And I want to like Katie, but her incessant whining annoys me, too. LOL Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to me to be anybody I can identify with.....its an interesting show to watch, but just doesn't grab me like Survivor did. *sigh*

Can anyone tell me what happened in the second show last night? I fell asleep about 10 minutes into the show and missed it! (Not that it was boring, I was just tired!). Who was executed?
Patrick was executed on the second show - woo hoo!
Princess_Aurora
06-05-2002, 11:05 AM
Not only was Patrick executed, but before that he asked Katie if he could look at his diary for a minute then he took off with it and tore out a bunch of pages! At the end the host told them that was against the rules and the were fined $5000! As soon as that was said I was like, "That's it, Patrick's the mole." but then he got executed so I was wrong. But imagine if he didn't get executed...a lot of people would be thinking he was the mole.

I must have missed that part. I was waiting. And when Anderson asked if he was surprised that he was executed, I expected it to have soemthing to do with him tearing the pages out of his/katies journal.
I have had my eye on Katie since the first show (this fall). I like her, I hope if she isn't the mole that she is the winner.
How hard can it be for them to have to keep this a secret for so long....This was likely taped over last summer.

Ok, I admit it, I like this show. I didn't see any of the first season of the Mole and since Survivor is over I have to watch SOMETHING! I don't know who the mole is, I haven't connected to the players that much, but if it's Dorothy she is awful at concealing it. I don't want to think it's her because that would almost be too obvious but if she isn't why would she want to look like the mole and risk getting kicked off? Maybe I don't understand the dynamics of the show. Can anyone explain it to me? I don't know the players names very well. Who was the guy that had to go face first down the dam? I think that he is the most trusted by the whole group (and the most willing to volunteer to lead) that I think he could be the mole. I'll be watching next Tuesday!

I don't think Dorithy is the mole because the mole is suppose to keep the group from winning money and she earned them at least $20k last night by solving those riddles.

I too am happy that the Mole is back. It was one of my favorite shows last year. I liked it so much better than Survivor. I also knew it was Katherine, although everyone else in my family was convinced it was the skinny guy with all the tatoos. I really liked him and wanted him to be the winner. This time around I am kinda stumped. I am glad that Lisa is gone since I didn't like her. I was a fan of Patrick though, so I'm sorry to see him go. He was such a good sport to walk around a strange city wearing that little pair of underwear. What was up with the one girl (don't remember her name) who wore the tight yellow dress. She acted like they wanted her to wear a string bikini. It was hardly revealling. I am getting really tired of Katie and her crying fits in every episode. But that could be a good Mole cover. My DF thinks she is the Mole. I guess only time will tell. Who else was surprised after last season when Anderson got that job as a TV news anchor for one of those (CNN, FOXNEWS, don't remember which) shows?

See thats the thing you cant be "kicked off" you have to be "exucted" by answering the least amount of questions wrong. The less you know about the mole or if you are zooming in on the wrong person, then you will not know the answers and be "executed."

I say it is either Katie or Bill! When Bill told Al not to give him an exemption, he wanted to earn it............heck, I thought that was strange! I think anyone would take and exemption!
Katie is young, naive and a whiner! What a great idea for a MOLE!

WDW2002~Now I get it. The mole can't be executed because they will get all the questions correct. However, what happens towards the end? If the mole is the last one left do they get to keep the money in the pot along with the money that they are payed to be the mole? Like I said, I have not watched the show before and I don't know how the game is supposed to be played. It sure makes for good t.v. though.

They end the game when there are 3left ( 2 player plus the mole). The winner is the one who guesses who the mole is or has the most Q's right about who the mole is. This person gets all the $$ in the pot.
I understand that Anderson, the host, does not even know who the mole is until the very end.

Thanks for clearing that up. I think I have it now, and it makes me want to keep watching. I don't think I could ever be on a show like that. Well, tonight's episode certainly didn't help me get any closer to figuring out the Mole. Katie was awfully suspicious when she forgot the G. The admiral guy was suspicious when he didn't last long treading water. Dorothy was when she was gone forever. The prison cell chick was supsicous when she didn't take the exemption (but I wouldn't have taken it either). So I have no better guess now than before!!
BTW, what happened to Katie's arm?
I was also wondering what happened to Katie's arm. If they told us, I missed it.
I have absolutely no idea who is the mole right now!
I am so clueless as to who the Mole is. I have no idea.
I am enjoying this season as much as the first Mole. :)

I can't get the article to open, but I wonder if anyone actually saw katie get hurt at the pool.....
The big green cast on her thumb and the big green thumprint in the shows logo seems awfully coincidental to me......
But I think Bill is the Mole.....

I also thought that it could be Elavia (sp?). Weren't they saying something about no one knew her boyfriends name until last night? And then there was a question about that on the test? Weird.

DD (almost 11) and I love watching this together. After last nights episode we were more confused then ever!!
We thought Katie because of the missing G, then Bill because he couldn't tread water for longer than 8 minutes, then Dorothy for totally messing up and Elavia for messing up too (I thought they were suppose to be able to run???She couldn't run to fast or far).
Then there was Darwin answering the questions from the pool even before thhhey got a call!!??? Then Brigs was quiet.......Heather, we like her but don't think she is the Mole
OOOOOOHHHHH! We are sooo confused.
How about you?

After last night, I am more suspicious of Katie. Has anyone picked up on any of the clues yet?? The only clues I see (if they are in fact clues) seem to point to Katie. I think the cast on her hand could be one definitely!! Also, one episode showed Anderson eating a muffin as he was talking to the group and Katie made a reference to a muffin before that. Also.... Katie has been associated with the number '2' quite a few times - including last night when her quiz result was the second one announced. Missing the G last night could have been a silly mistake BUT what made me suspicious was that she is a Spanish teacher and she was trying to come up with an Italian title. Spanish and Italian are similar and she should have done much better.
Hmm.... I still don't think its the Admiral. Yes, he gave out early treading water but he's not exactly in great shape. I wonder how long it has been since he's had to swim in full flight gear??
Dorothy - getting so lost and sick on her run makes me really wonder, especially after the mind game answers last week.
Heather - Did she give up her exemption because she is the mole??
Just some thoughts....

Any knew guesses??
Two things I saw that might be clues pointed to up to four different people. In the first mission the letter A was blinking on the name of the town? Which first led me to all but then I got thinking that well the A was at the END of the word which led to Myra (well guess not) or Elavia. Then when showing the bags at the exacution, Bribs name was taped to the bag not written on the bag.
Bribs was my initial guess because of the mole beer can he brought. But I also think it could be Al, I have big doubts on Elavia because she is acting too hard to look like the mole.
Anyone else?

In lasts nights episode, who was holding the MOle wine when the camera panned in on that. also, the camera panned in on either a notebook or menu with the number 14 on it!! Anyone think these are clues??
DD and I are now leaning toward Bribs and possibly Heather. On the first show, the Mole was pretty much liked!!! Bribs and Heather seem low key, friendly and sincere!!!! Ha, the MOLE????
Katie always seems so Shocked when they annouce who is the next to be executed!!
Anyone else getting more clues or ideas as to who the mole is???

I too saw Bribbs' name taped on his bag, didn't notice it last week. And wasn't he the one who said he was the mole in the swimming pool? Also I think either him or Darwin was holding the wine when they showed it. It was driving me nuts last night because I couldn't remember which one had it.
Was anyone surprised that she took the money? I really wasn't.

I wasn't surprised, but then again I didn't suspect her as the mole either. I would do the same thing though...especially knowing that almost everyone hated me the most out of all the people. I would feel too uncomfortable staying anyway so I may as well leave $50k richer.

I wans't much surprised either. I suspected her a bit but she tried too hard to look like the mole, IMO.

Did anyone notice what they thought the clue was tonight? I have an idea but my SO disagrees with me. In the Gnome Home game didn't Anderson say you can grease your own gnome, but you can't grease your friend's gnome? Didn't Heather grease the gnome a 2nd time before Bill took off with it. Maybe this is nothing but I thought it might be tonights clue. What do you guys think?

Smee- I don't know if I think it is Heather. She seems so much like Katherine that it would be almost anticlimatic for her to be the Mole.
TigerBear- Tonight they split into two groups. Elavia, Heather and Bill had to carry these big gnomes covered in grease in a relay race. Bill broke it, losing the money for the team but found an exemption inside. The other group- Al, Bribs, Katie, Dorothy, and Darwin played Gladiator. Dorothy was Ceaser and the others had to battle gladiators to protect the crown. They were wearing eggs that exploded with red paint when they were hit. Al was the only team player to get his egg broken. They won that game. Bribs was chosen for an opertunity to get an exemption because he chose to wear a specific hat. He would have had to kill the others and steal the crown like Brutus, but he turned it down. At the end Anderson had them rate players again and Elavia was chosen as least liked. Anderson offered her $50,000 to leave the game now and she took it. The did not execute anyone else tonight. Hope this filled you in!

I am pretty certain that the clues are not things that the players do. But instead are things that the producers put in in editing.
I did notice that one of the gnomes in the gnome game blue eye blinked. And there was a Q about what color hat did the moles gnome from their clue in the AM have. I am thinking these are connected. Now who had the blue hated gnome??
StilesMom
06-26-2002, 07:37 AM
Good catch on seeing the gnome's eye winking... I missed that! I also remembered Anderson's statement about not greasing your friend's gnome... in fact, I wondered if they would receive a penalty/fine for Heather breaking that rule. One other thing I noticed.... they seemed to show the name of the restaurant for a long time. It was in Italian and I'm not sure what it meant other than the last word was "Antonio". Probably not a clue... ????

That was actually the first thing I noticed when heather started greasing up the gnome for a second time. I said to my DH, "Hey, she's not suppose to do that for him." Then when that guy ran off after kicking a goal I was like, "Wasn't he suppsoe to take a picture too?" Then he ran back for the picture. I guess we'll never know about Heather greasing up the gnome since they lost the game anyway.
Did anyone else almost freak out though when he pretended like he was gonna start an execution anyway? The looks on those players' faces was absolutly priceless :)

I have been thinking of this issue a bit.....
They first all picked 1 of the gnomes. Then they picked which order they would do the relay. Was the gnome that was used for the game the gnome Heather choose (because she went first)?? If so then she was the only one who could grease it because that was her gnome??

06-26-2002, 09:54 PM
I missed the first part of the gnome game :(. My money is still on Bill. He seemed like a total ditz on the bike and then dropped the gnome. Of course, he's been on the top of my "mole" for weeks.
I don't blame Elavia one bit for taking the money. She was voted the "least liked" 2 weeks in a row. She said she was in it for the experience and after a couple of weeks she had her experience and now 50K :D. My least favorite player is Dorothy. She seems to be too physically weak for the game and I wonder how she even made it into the game.

I still think it's Katie. Just a gut feeling. My other runners-up are: Al, Bribs, and Darwin.
I do NOT think that Dorothy, Bill, or Heather are the mole.
Was anyone else kind of annoyed that they did that whole "rank your most/least favorite player" shtick? I'm also think they're overplaying the whole "we'll give you money for an exemption" thing.

I missed yesterday's show too- who got executed? Did anyone notice last week's clues pointing to Al? Like the names of some of the places they went had different colored letters and AL stood out. Plus I think he 'died' a little too easily in the gladiator game.

For those of you that missed it: Anderson goes into Bill's room in the morning and gives him a sticker and tells him to put it into someones journal. If he does that player gets neutralized (not alowed an exemption) or if he fails he gets neutralized. The players split into two groups. Al and Heather had to smush grapes with their feet and fill 5 wine bottles in 90 min. It was really easy but they and Anderson consumed lots of wine (not the foot made kind) then they were able to wager that money on pouring wine into glasses and carrying it without spilling it. They lost that. The others all had to get a Citrone into a greenhouse with only one open door. The other door was padlocked. They had 2:30 hours to take the car apart and reassemble it inside the greenhouse and it had to start. They finally realized they could open the combination of the lock. So they won that money. Al and Heather had to convince the other 4 to drink one bottle of their foot wine at dinner for money. Bill put the sticker in Dorothy's book and she was neutralized. Then Anderson woke them all up at 12:15 am and made them wack a tether ball around till 6:00am in the same order, and no one could hit out of order. He kept coming back and asking who was tired. Al and then Heather went back to bed. The third time he offered Bill an exemption if he hit out of turn. He took it, but then found out the Bribs and Darwin had both already messed the game up earlier.
I just finished watching this week's episode (we taped it). Right now, my best guess for the Mole is Bribs - but that may change next week!

Doesn't anyone think that Bill is the Mole? He's been my choice since the show aired last year. There just seems to be a lot of "Bill" references. "Bill" Shakespeare, Dollar "Bills" as the clue to Elavia's exit, the phone # on the telegram (245578436653) spelled "bills the mole".
Don't forget the other things:
1. There was the shot of the carpet with two fish-Bill's a Pieces, 2. He dropped the gnome after insisting on taking the 2nd leg of the challenge (loss of $)
3. He didn't solve any of the brainteasers
4. He stopped at the pub for drinks
5. He bought ice cream (loss of $)
6. He couldn't tread water
7. He wouldn't wear the diaper (loss of $)
8. He fell on purpose twice during the Little John game
9. He told Al not to give him the second exemption
10. He would have lost the money at the ball-toss game if it wasn't for Darwin & Bribs (loss of $)
Also, his interviews also consists of maybe 2 sentences & he has no alliances
oooooo Craig!
WOW.....good logic there.
The phone # on the telegram!!! How did you catch that???

The Mole is one of my favorite shows. I watch each episode at least 3 times. Plus there are some great sites out there. reallitynewsonline.com, sirlinksalot.net etc.
For a while some thought it was Katie simply because she would paint a fingernail red for each person executed. The phone number thing also said "or katie" but it was just with her initials. There was also a possible clue in the begining of the show where the letters in their names pop up. Well the first 4 letters in Bill's spelled Bane which means "killer, poison, death, destruction, a source of harm or ruin" No one else's name spelled anything.
Now you could also say that Bribs brough in a can of mole killer and bane can also mean "to kill with poison" Also, I think Bribs birthday was on the license plate of the green car.
On the last show shomeone spotted something with Bill's name that went something like aMirAL which could be interpreted as "ADMIRE AL" leading one to believe Al is the Mole.
Last week I got a call from the Nielsen rating people to be a Nielsen family. When I heard I said , "Well looks like the Mole will be around for another season."

07-14-2002, 04:43 PM
My number 1 suspect is Bribs. I saw some of the same clues as some of you like the name difference on his bag. Think back to the unscramble game with Bribs in the pool. I think Katie was a little scattered and just missed the letter but the two guys on the side lines saw it but couldn't say anything. If they saw it why didn't Bribs? On two different episodes they asked at the end who is the mole? On one they showed Bribs and on another the showed his bag. About 2 episodes ago during the quiz interviews someone said Bribs was too nieve and they showed him responding to that saying he wasn't. How did he know what someone said during the quiz if he isn't the mole.
If he is not the mole I'm compleatly fooled. I love this show and watch every week. I hope it comes back every season.

I picked Katherine out last time during the 1st episode when she fake cried during the first execution.
I've thought it was Bill all along this time. No evidence to support my choice, just a gut feeling.

My #1 suspect is still Dorothy, but Craig makes some interesting points. This is hands down my favorite show on television. I find it hard to believe it doesn't get better ratings than "Survivor." I don't like that show at all.
My son and I tape the Mole every week and watch it together replaying the parts we feel we need to see again. We even got dear old dad into it last week.
Well, this goes to show that I don't know what I'm talking about! I'm going to miss the latest victim of the mole! (Don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen this week's episode, yet.)

Possible Spoiler!!!!
If I were the Mole what could I do to sabotage the challenges?
1. Although one person thought that picking odd items to sell would be molish, I think trying to sell ANYTHING would be difficult. Knowing that the women would most likely volenteer for the shopping portion of the challenge, (and the fact that the Mole is male) it would be suspicious if the Mole said they liked to shop. The language barrier is the problem here. Try to get a bargain if you can't speak the language. Also, try and sucker locals to buy something for more than its worth. (Al sold 2 pair of shoes for a total of $25) The Mole didn't have to try to hard in this game. It was a near impossible game to win.
In the second game, what could the Mole do to sabotage it? How about controlling the radio that tells the tracker where to find the other person. The Mole can control when the tracker takes off. He can appear to hit the call button and just talk out loud to make it seem that he is really talking to someone.
I still say its Bill. I'd like to be wrong because it would totally blow me away and make me watch all the episodes again.

Craig, I agree that it is VERY suspicious that Bill's original call did not go through. I do think that he is the mole. I think Dorothy works hard at trying to appear to be the Mole. Who knows though, she may surprise us.
What would be really surprising though is if Al is the Mole since no one really seems to suspect him. Did Bill and he ever discuss the walkie talkie incident? Does anyone remember who was shown on camera when Bill supposedly told Al that they spotted Heather? It was just a shot of Bill, right?

Bribs was next to Bill. Again, it may have only been a mistake on Bill or Al's part. We don't know how much radio interaction they had up to the "There she is" moment. If there was none, then Al should have jumped out of his non-Echo shoes and started running. If they had been continuously then I can understand if Al was unsure whom Bill was talking to. Also, if you have a radio you know that sometimes the first second or two of a transmission is lost. Many hit the call button and wait a second or two before talking.
One thing that have some talking is the fact that a lot of the names of the towns and restaurants they have gone to have the letters AL or LA or LA (name) Its ItALy! Many phrases have LA in them.
Another point about Heather not being the Mole is the fact that she has commented that she is a Christian. She takes her Student Bible with her that her father had given her. Would a Christian (even playing a game where lying plays a major part) swear on the Bible that they are not the Mole when they really are? I hope that ABC wouldn't think of this and tell Heather that she should swear on her Bible. Even if she did this on her own (and she is the Mole) ABC shouldn't have someone working for them lying and then say they would swear on a Bible that they aren't!
I did see that Dorothy was wearing a green ring, green watchband and drinking from a green glass in the beginning of the show. Bill was wearing a green shirt the next day and that Al's favorite color is green.
I still think its Bill.

What makes it so hard to know who the Mole is (besides the editing) is that everyone is trying to appear to be the Mole. So it's possible that Bill really didn't press the button, but it's also possible he did that to make everyone else falsely suspect him.

As much as I loved Bribs, I was happy to see him go because that meant that DH was wrong and I still have a chance of being right!
My gut has been telling me that it's Heather since day one. My guess is that they think we're thinking since the Mole was a female last time that it would be a male this time. PLUS she's the only one who still hasn't earned an exemption. I know she SEEMED sad that she didn't get it last night, but during the first round when Al spotted her she had plenty of time to take off running. She could've easily lost him! Only the Mole wouldn't be very determined to get an exemption...and Bill seems very determined to earn exemptions.
But all the hard evidence points to Bill...especially with th William Shakespeer clues.
I can't wait to find out who it is!
Heather did react when they said that they spotted her. I thought it was odd that Al didn't take off.
I thought it was Darwin-gone
Then I thought Bribs-gone
Now maybe Al??? But the Bill theory has me intrigued.

She definitely took off running after they showed her hearing Bill on the walkie talkie. I also thought they showed Al standing there while his walkie talkie was going off too. Very suspicious, but maybe a little too obvious. Why would they show us that? Last Mole, it was almost impossible to tell who it was from the editin.

Aahmom, most of the clues were so obscure it was ridiculous. Things like in Clue #1 the letters were red and on that day, the mole wore a red shirt. Or, the contestants all had pasta for dinner, pasta starts with P and so does the Mole's name.It almost made me not want to watch again. Almost. :)

Tonight wasn't the last show. It will be on Channel 9 at 9:00 in Orlando next week. ;)
Quick with lots of detail missing --- They played a game where each one of them was taken into a house and asked questions like "Who would you trust to watch your kids?" "Who is most likely to be alone in 10 years? related to the other two. Then, other two had to guess how the person had answered. They each took a turn being asked the questions. The answers gave them the direction to go to find the house where the person was being held. Complicated game and they got everything wrong.
The next challenge was they had to go off in a direction to find a GPS. Once they got the Global Positioning System, it would tell them what direction to head and how far to go to reach a building where they would get the dossier on the Mole if they were the first one there. I think they also got $100,000 for the pot. It was pretty torturous for all of them. Bill got really scratched up. Heather had a breakdown and was giving up when some type of animal came after her. Maybe a wild boar. She dropped out of the game. Bill was the first one there. Anderson offered him $100,000 for the pot if he didn't look at the dossier. Bill turned over the dossier and said $100,000 was a better reward for all his trouble than just looking at a paper. He said he felt he knew who was the mole.
Heather mentioned that Dorothy seemed to handle this hiking quite well when in the past she always had trouble with physical events.
I don't remember the quiz questions.
I really wished they came to the conclusion tonight. I keep going back and forth on who it is......
TigerBear
07-30-2002, 09:43 PM
When Bill turned down the mole dossier it really made me question whether he is the mole. Before that, I was pretty positive.
He would rather have Dorothy watch his kids than Heather???? What is that about? And he thinks Heather will be the one to be alone in ten years. Those answers made absolutely no sense to me (or to the girls, LOL!).

I don't think Heather technically dropped out of the hiking game...not that it really matters though. But whoever was talking to her said, "I need to hear the words 'I quit'" and that's when that animail (which I'm pretty sure was a wild boar) came chasing after them. I don't know about the rest of you, but that scared me half to death...I can't imagine how she felt about it.

It has to e Heather, I didn't buy that whole 'lost in the woods, let me sit down and cry' stuff. Remember we didn't actually 'see' the boar, we heard it, 2 very different things. What better way to make sure she stayed away from the castle, than to act like she got lost. If she's the mole she would have no reason to go to the castle, by her 'getting lost' she was giving the other 2 a chance to get there without her having to race them there.

I also want to add that I think this is the BEST reality TV show and reason being is the person "executes" themselves - no one "kicks" them out of the game. It keeps me guessing and is very entertaining!!

From day one I suspected Heather (but I suspected 3 people at one time). If she's not the mole I'm pretty sure she's gonna be the winner. If it is Bill I can understand why he wouldn't forfiet the $100k...that would look VERY suspecious and the Mole isn't suppose to make himself look to much like the mole.
RIDISNEYLOVERS- I think the reason they do it in a different country is to make it harder. You've seen how many things they've had to do in town trying to get help from the natives. In the first one I swear I thought they traveled more than that. I thought they were in a different place like every couple of episodes.

I am sticking with my original pick of Heather. If I had a second guess it would be Dorothy. But she whines so much I just don't think it's her. Heather just screws up way too much. And I took her "quitting" to be a glorified temper tantrum - she'd been working up to it all day. How do you follow a GPS & never get within 4 miles of your destination  How come NO ONE - not Heather or the crew could identify the "attacking" animal?
If Bill's the mole, he's good. Of the 3 of them, I find Bill to be the most likable.

It really could be any of the three.
Although it seems too obvious, my pick is Dorothy. I can't believe that she just happened to get lucky all the way to this point.
Heather would be a good choice because I think she's a lot more sneaky then she lets on. Perhaps the alliance with Dorothy was because she didn't figure Dorothy was much of a threat.
Bill seems pretty straight forward & his acts through out the game have been for the benefit of the team. I think it might be him though because he could do something wrong & have people believe that he was doing what he thought was right.
I think if I was a player I might intentionally mess up a few times, just to make people assume I was the Mole, which is possibly what Dorothy has been doing the entire time.

Does anyone know what the Mole's motivation is to sabotage the games? Do they get money? And what do they get if they fool everyone? I've watched all three of these and I'm still confused!
We were with some friends of ours tonight who are also Mole fans. They told us that Mole II was actually cancelled before the new TV season started. They aired it over the summer instead of airing reruns of other shows. From what our friends told us, a Mole III isn't currently being planned.

The Mole website has the most traffic of any of ABC's message boards. It averages 6-8 posts per minute. Not hits but posts. It can only help if viewers wirte, call & email ABC with their opinions.

A few weeks ago I sent in a clue to realitynewsonline.com
Here's what I posted:
"On The Mole, the clue was the McDonalds dinner. Anderson said the dinner was courtesy of Mickey D's. Bill McDaniel-aka The Mole."
This was the relpy from C. Brian Devinney:
"I also doubt this is an actual clue. If they wanted to make a point of the meal being from McDonalds to tie into the identity of the mole, then the mole’s last name would have been McDonald not McDaniel."
Guess who was right?
This is what was posted yesterday from Mr. Devinney:
"Episode 11 -- There were lots of ships present and shockingly enough, the clue I totally discredited (the McDonald’s/Mickey D’s compliment) came back to bite me in the butt. This one does go down as the WORST clue ever."
I sent him an email stating that just because he missed it or dieregarded it doesn't make it the WORST clue ever. In fact, if it's an obvious clue and it's missed, it is indeed a great clue.
