Getting from Paris Central to Disney

Hi all
We are comming to Paris from Australia and are on limited time so have only been able to allocate one day to Paris Disney. We are staying near the Louve in Paris and will be going to Disney on Monday the 28th September this includes my husband and two children aged 7 and 10. Can any one tell me the best way to get there and approx how long it will take as we would like to be there for opening. If it is by train. Is the train station right there or do you need to walk (not that this bothers us). Just thinking about WDW and the Magic Kingdom. You get there but then still takes another 10 15 minutes to get inside the park. Thank you in advance.

The nearest station to the Louvre is Palais Royal Musee du Louvre. What you would need to do is take a Metro from there to Chatelet Les Halles, then change there onto an RER train Marne La Vallee.

I'm not familiar with walking distances so you may be able to walk rather than take the Metro first.

Once you get to DLRP, the station is within easy walking distance of most hotels most are 5 - 10 minutes away, except the Santa Fe and Cheyenne which are 15 - 20. Alternatively, there are buses outside to the station which visit every hotel apart from the Disneyland.

I was in Paris last spring for a Six Nations Rugby match (OT - come on Ireland!) and we stayed in a hotel beside the Louvre. The Châtelet Les Halles RER Station is no more than a 1km walk from the Palais Royal Musee du Louvre Metro station.
