If so, did it work? What is the best deal out there ?

I know nothing about the Acai berry diet but I have tried Acai and love it. Of course finding it is not easy and not cheap but I found a Acai frozen slush concoction on one of the local health food stores and it was great. You just throw it in a blender with 100% fruit juice, some other frozen fruit, and protein powder and it is great.

Thanks! Looks like we're neighbors... (I'm in Bedford)
I'll have to check it out. Did it give you energy? Curb your app?

I am located in the same area, so I am interested in what health food store you found this at!

I found it at the Wild Oats store on Chagrin, just off of I-271. This was before it was owned by Whole Foods though.
To answer the curb your appetite thing I don't think the way I used it was necessarily going to do that. I have a smoothie after the gym and I make them with frozen or fresh fruit, 100% fruit juice, and protein powder (sometime some other added goodness like cinnamon). I used the acai in the smoothies and thought it was very good. I can't say I felt more or less satisfied, I chose the acai more for the antioxidants.
There are a lot of Ohio people on the boards I have noticed. There is usually an OSU-Michigan post somewhere every November. Needless to say OSU fans outnumber Michigan, but now I am wayyyyyy :offtopic:

I could almost walk there from work. Small world.
