The Disney Store is about an hours drive away and I've been calling but it just rings and rings and rings. To save me a trip there does anyone have any current pricing for WDW tickets sold at the Disney Store? I need to buy 5 or 7 day park hopper passes with the water parks + more option and with the exchange rate it might be cheaper to go down to the Disney Store.. but don't want to make the trip for nothing.
Thanks!

Can't remember off hand what the individual prices were, but 2 weeks ago I bought 2 kids & 2 adult 5 day passes and my bank statement tells me it came to $871.18.

I *think* the adult 5 days were $231 and the kid ones were $199? Plus lovely taxes?

But, def. the total was per above. HTH!

I recently bought our Park Hopper tickets through the Disney store. I found with the exchange that this was the cheapest option considering our current exchange rate. These are the prices listed on the brochure that I picked up at the store:
Park Hopper and Water Park and More Combo ticket
5 days: Adult = $342.95 Child = $305.68
7 days: Adult = $349.34 Child = $312.07

In case you (or others are interested):
Park Hopper
5 days: Adult = $289.68 Child = 252.41
7 days: Adult = $296.07 Child = 258.80

The "fine print" at the bottom indicates that prices are subject to change without notice. Prices include the 6.5% Florida Sales Tax ...

I hope this helps!

Hi - Have you checked prices with CAA? Last year, we bought our tickets from CAA - I found their prices a little cheaper/almost the same as the Disney stores.

The Disney Store sells MYW tickets at par exchange (or at least, they do currently). Since the Canadian dollar dropped so much over the past year, Canadian Disney stores are probably the best place on the continent to buy Disney tickets. They're 20% less than buying at WDW in Florida !

Wow. That is quite a difference than what I was looking at. Off to the Disney Store we go! I'll try *AGAIN* to call to confirm that they have tickets available. Makes me feel a lot better about ticket pricing. Through one of the online brokers a 7 day PH with water parks is about $420ish.
Thanks!

If I buy the tickets now are they still good to use for a trip next year?

Has anyone bought them at the Disney store in Dartmouth Nova Scotia? And do they do them on par?

I highly suggest you call before driving an hour to risk being disappointed that the store does not have any in stock. I just bought mine amonth ago and they didn't have 5 day base, and I had to buy 7 days even though we're only going for 5 nights! Sometimes they only have adults or they only have child tickets. Try to call and if they do have them in stock, ask that they hold them for you until you can get in. Last year we were on a 2 month long quest with trying to get them from our store, they could never keep them in stock!

Yes I have and yes they do have them at par. But they may not have the specific tickets you want. But you can always upgrade when you get to FL.

They may not last, so I would call before I go.

Boy - I wish we had a Disney store out here on the west coast so we could get our tickets too. Well, maybe not - you'd never get me out of there.

Last time I got tickets through the Disney store we ordered them in advance. Not sure if that is the current policy or if it depends on the store. It is true that they do not always have them in stock ... so it worth a phone call to check.

Hi, I just got back from buying Park passes at the Disney Store at Square One. They just got a bunch of passes in and they are still priced at par! They have 3/5/7/ day tickets.

I'm assuming you are not a DVC member, staying on DVC points as the rules for dining plan differ for that group.

Otherwise, in order to use Disney's Dining Plan, you must buy a package from Disney which includes room & tickets (at least a one day ticket must be purchased). If you're staying for 8 nights (and want eight days of tickets), it is theoretically possible to buy your 7 days tickets at the Disney store, and then use your one day pass included with your package for the eighth days. However, it's cost more than buying a eight day ticket direct from Disney in US funds.

Finally got through! 7 day PH (no waterpark) is $296.07 which I believe is really decent. Online they are around $360ish with the exchange rate. I'll upgrade to the water park option when we get down there.. or maybe jump up to a DVC AP. Thanks for everyone's help!

When you buy from the Disney store -- at the resort do they add the tickets to your key so you only need to carry 1 card or do you then need to use a separate card for entrance?

No problem. This can be done. As long as you are not buying a room package from Disney (your reservation is room only). They can't combine tickets on your room key (KTTW).

Just had someone pick up my tickets. 2x 7day PH adult passes and 1 7day child PH pass was $850. I priced it out online at UT and it would have been $1049 with the exchange. Not too shabby a savings. I believe it's around $50 to add the water park option and $120 to add no expiration (US$) at the parks. We'll see what it takes to UG to a DVC annual pass when I get down there. I'm thinking it won't be that much.

k I dont know if I am messing up here or what... to buy 4 adult passes at the store in Ontario ( square One) it is 349.00 a person for hopper with water parks 7 days that comes to 1396. to buy them from Disney it comes to 1112.00 that a 284 dollar difference .. with the exchange rate does that make it at par or no? Or is it cheaper to just get them there ? *confused!! LOL *

You might have forgot the water park options when you check the price from Disney. 7 days adult hopper with water parks for 4 from Disney should come to $1312 US.

Wow, that's really good to know! The nearest DS to me is two hours away in Ottawa but it might be worth it to go there.

Don't forget that if you're upgrading, make sure you use each ticket for at least one day before you upgrade to lock in the value of each ticket.

We never did for our DD' s annual pass upgrade and we only paid for the differences. I believe the tickets from DS in Canada has the same face value as the tickets down in WDW.

I realize that, but I learned on the DIS that if you don't use it at least once, you may lose money when you upgrade - by using it, you lock in the value that Disney gives the ticket - if you don't use it, you're only getting back whatever value the store paid the broker they got the passes from. Just letting OP know you will get more value towards your upgrade by using it once than if you didn't - it works, because I did it - you don't get the one day you use it deducted off the pass value.

Don't forget that the Disney price does not add the tax until you are checking out. This confused me too, but if you log in to the disney website and go to pay for the tickets the tax is added and they are the exact same price.

I work just down the street from Fairview mall, so I'm going to go there on Monday or Tuesday and get some pricing... and see if they have any tickets. I'll let everyone know what I find out.

I picked up a 7 day hopper at the Scarborough Town Centre store and they had dozens of each type of ticket, still at Par with USD, the CM said that could change at anytime, not just when they need to re-order. When I asked for the ticket the CM could not find the adult tickets they had been sorted by another CM. If you head there and they can't find the tickets, let them know they are sorted into three different folders, freaked me out a little.

If I buy the 5 day passes can I upgrade to "non expiry" and "hopper" when we get down there, if need be?:confused3

I think I may drive over to the Disney store in Dartmouth today, just to see what is available.:goodvibes

I just drove the 2 hrs to the Disney Store at the Mic Mac mall in Dartmouth and they still have good availability on their tickets (although they are going fast!!). The 5 Day base passes are $236.43 (Adult) & $199.16 (Ages 3-9) to add the hopper it is $289.68 & 252.41...the 7 Day Base is $242.82 & $205.55 and adding the hopper makes it $296.07 & $258.80.
We just bought 11- 7 Day base tickets because we bought hoppers last year and only used that feature once in 10 days.
Above prices all include the sales tax...can't beat those prices - especially with the exchange rate right now.

hmmmm I called Disney in MicMac this morning and I had them hold 1 adult 7 day base, and 2 child - 7 day base. They didn't have a second adult base ticket. Maybe someone who held them today won't pick them up and there will be a second adult one. I figure worst case scenario is that I have to buy 1 adult hopper ticket and just not hop!!

The lady I spoke to told me there were a lot of people coming down from NB today to pick up tickets!! LOL

I was there (MicMac) yesterday (Sunday) and bought the last 5 day hopper (and options) passes. She said they are the #1 Disney store for sales in Disney passes in Canada (Maritimers love their Disney!!). :goodvibes

She said they get their passes in once a month and the next shipment will be April :wizard:

If the tickets are from airmiles or any other place other than Disney store and you are correct, use the ticket once first before the upgrade. But OP got the tickets from DS and there is no need to use the tickets once before the upgrade.

We had our daughter's ticket (bought at DS) scan at the guest relations first and we want to make sure it has the same value as their tickets. And the cast member told me our DS bought tickets has the same face value as the tickets they sell at WDW.

I got a call from the Disney Store and someone had reserved an adult 7 day base ticket and didn't pick it up today so its mine...all mine!!! :cool1: I picked up 3 earlier today but they didn't have a fourth but the Manager was nice enough to take my name down (the woman yesterday wouldn't!!!)

I'm not leaving until May 2nd but at least now I can scratch one more thing off my list - and I'm saving 90 US PLUS the exchange rate on 985 dollars although I'm not really saving it - we decided to take advantage of the room rates that are on sale and upgraded to AKL!!

just spoke to the Disney Store @ Limeridge Mall in Hamilton, Ontario.....I am in London and it is the closest Disney Store to me (90 min drive). Currently out of ADULT base 3 and 5 day passes - but have 7 day. Have all passes for children. They order monthly and expect a new shipment of passes within the next 7 - 10 business days. Did confirm that tickets are still 'at par' ...though she said she is prohibited from using that term. She said that "all I can do is confirm that pricing has not changed since last August". Will not set aside tics and inidcated it is first come - first serve. Will be calling back in a week as we leave Apr 13. Drive is well worth an estimated $300 savings for us on 2 adult base 3 day and 2 child base 3 day passes.

When I picked ours up, the sales person said she had heard talk of a price increase. It was just talk but that combined with the fact that they are "at par", would make me want to get them now:goodvibes . You know the price isn't going down any.:)
