Hi,

I am starting to plan our first Disney trip for this Christmas. We will be staying for 12 nights, and are a family of 7. We will be either staying at BCV or AKV 2BR or doing a split stay at POR with 2 connecting rooms and finishing our stay at the villa.

So, I see some posts about discounted room rates for AP holders. If I was to buy 1 AP for myself, can the rest of my family just buy regular 10-day tickets, and still get the AP room rate?

Do they have AP room rates over Christmas, or just in the slower seasons?

I am thinking that we might be able to save a bunch if we buy one pass, but am just not sure how the discounts are offered.

Thanks,
Andrea

An AP pass can get you a discount on up to 3 rooms. You only need one - whoever the ressie is under. Everyone else can get 10 day passes.
As for discounts during Christmas - sorry I have no clue!
Hope this helps a bit!

Actually, AP holders used to be able to book 3 rooms with an AP discount. Now it is one discounted room per adult passholder. It changed over a year ago. Last December, AP discounts included dates through 12/23. HTH.

Sorry about the mis-information. It's been almost 2 years since I used my AP. Will be a bummer for next years trip when I need 2 rooms.
