Since it has been over 15 years that I have been at a Disney Park, it was time to have some Disney magic again.

So the day before my 41st Birthday, I boarded a flight at Cairns International airport at 12.05pm for a seven hour flight to Tokyo.

Arrived at NRT airport at 6.45pm, picked a JR East rail pass and jumped on a train to Tokyo station, transfered to a local train for the trip out to JR Maihama Station.

Started to Walk to my hotel of choice " Hilton Tokyo Bay ", that was a mistake after heading the wrong way and walking for 20 minutes, it was time to ask ( well do hand movements, that I hoped someone would understand ).

Headed back to the station area and hoped on the Disney Resort Line monorail. A couple minutes later arrived at the Bayside station the area for Offical Disney Partner Hotels.

Check in was breeze , armed with a room key headed up to my room on the 11th floor, opened the door and was greeted with a view of the Castle, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain, I had hit the Jackpot. :thumbsup2

Will post more later today and Photos to come as well!!1

I arrived at the Disneyland gates around 7.45am to be fronted with maybe 3,000 or more people waiting to get in.

It took at little more than two minutes to get into the park once the gates opened, and the first place to head when at Tokyo Disneyland is the wonderful, awesome, truly original, brillant Pooh's Honey Hunt.

Wow, those are really neat pics! It struck me a little funny to see that the Hunny Hunt ride's book pages to be written in English even though it's in Tokyo... seems like they should have had it written in the native language? Either way, I've only been to WDW in FL and DL in CA, so I'm really excited to see more! Thanks for posting =)

This had just reopened from having the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay removed.

This with every other attraction was presented in the native language, but one of Disney's classic rides and due to early opening managed two rides in a row.

Time to head across to to Thunder Mountain....

I love your trip report, the pictures are great. I was surprised to see the Pooh book in English. I like the Mickey winter hats I'm so used to the ears they sell in Orlando. The Hotel looks nice, did you enjoy your stay there? Linda :)
