close a thread???

I have been on the boards for years however I can't seem to recall how to close a thread. I read alot on the boards now but don't post as much as I did when I first became a member. I want to make sure I follow the rules and close out anything if it needs to be

You don't! Only a moderator or Webmaster can close a thread and then only if there is a compelling reason to (usually over the top arguing, personal attacks, or violating the DIS TOS).

The DVC Rent/trade Board also has it's own rules about having a thread closed so you can read the FAQ there for that.

If you ever have a major concern about a thread that is getting out of hand, just use the Report Post feature (the triangle with the !). Otherwise threads stay open.
