If this isn't posted in the right place Mods. you can move it. Anyway, my question is if we rent points from a DVC member on these boards, and Disney "happened" to offer free dining, would we be able to get the free dining or would we have to pay for the Dining Plan? I know Disney says in order to get the free dining plan you must pay rack rate, but I wasn't sure about renting points.
Thanks for all the answers! :goodvibes

No. Guests staying on points are not eligible for the free dining promotion. In order to be eligible you have to book a cash, full priced disney resort pkg inc resort stay and park tix.

Okay thanks for the reply. Now if we were to book a rack rate room and had AP would we still be able to get Free Dining, or no because we technically wouldn't be booking a package?
Thanks

You still have to purchase a pkg with a minimum of a 1 day park ticket per person.
