Cruise and DVC points question

Is there any place where I can read and get get info about using your points to take a cruise? I don't have alot of points and I know it's not the best use of points, but I want to consider all options. I can't seem to find one source that explains all the rules, details, etc.

If you're a member you should be able to get the policy either in your member handbook or on the DVC member website.

If you're not a member, the basics are this:

There's a one time $95 fee for the transaction.

Points are a bit high compared to cash prizes but you will have to decide what is a fair tradeoff for you.

My wife and I cruised on points last year. We took a 3 day in a cat 7 stateroom and it was around 240 points.
