Everyone always talks about how loud some of the restaurants are in disney world. I am curious what are some of the quieter and more relaxing 1 TS restaurants to have a meal.

We went to Tutto Italia for an early dinner around 5ish and it was pretty quiet.
Then again we were seated somewhere near the back. :confused3

Le Cellier was pretty quiet around 5ish too.

GF Cafe, The Wave, Captain's Grill, Olivia's, Turf Club, and Boatwright's are all rather peaceful in our experience.

At the parks, Brown Derby, Mama Melrose, Liberty Tree Tavern at lunch, Chefs de France, the Plaza, Rose and Crown are quiet enough to please us. Tutto Italia has been very pleasant too unlike its predecessor. Not sure if tables were removed or what...but it's much nicer. Food and service are much improved too!

I know I'm forgetting some. If you avoid buffets and "action" meals, you'll probably be happy.

And of course it all depends on how you define quiet and relaxing. None are what you would term quiet candle light dining and you WILL find kids at all of them. A lot depends on what table you get and who is nearby.

I have had quiet meals at Chefs de France and Rose and Crown (outside) Eating off times seems to help too. I often do a late lunch and it's pretty quiet then.

Le Cellier I don't find quiet, they have SHOVED those tables in there to maximize revenue so you are sitting ON your neighbor LOL!

Bistro de Paris. Pretty quiet and usually not as many kids...usually!?:wizard:

I've eaten at several of the same restuarants for both dinner and lunch and always find lunch much quieter. I especially find GF Cafe to be very peaceful and relaxing at lunchtime.

I thought Coral Reef at Epcot was pretty relaxing and quiet, especially with the sound of the waves. It wasn't bright, but not dark either.
