Who's Going In September 2009?

Just wanted to see who else enjoys going in Sept. We always go the third week of Sept. It is so worth taking my son out of school. I will never go in the summer, to HOT and to crowded. I lived in FL for 22 yrs and do not wish to be there in the summer again.

15th - 29th Sept for us, it will be our first stay as dvc members. Staying at SSR 1 bdr, just DW and me, so looking forward to it.

Seems like we all will be returning home about the same time. We own at SSR and have not stayed there since 2006. We enjoy staying at BWV, we like that you can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We will be returning Sept 19-26, staying at BWV. Food & Wine Festival starts on the 25th, finally get to check that out. I always see them putting the booths up for it but never have gone to it. I hope everyone has a good time and for the people going for the first time, WELCOME HOME!!!

Count us in, Sept 23 - Oct 2 ( maybe 3rd ) at SSR. Might do a split stay this trip just not sure where :confused3 . Never been to BWV or VWL but it should be fairly easy to get somewhere else in September if we decide.

We are very much hoping to be there 13th Sept to 26th for our first DVC trip! :woohoo: I haven't been able to book it yet as we are treating my brother and his girlfriend to the trip and I can't see them to plan it until next week! The waiting is driving me crazy with worry that we won't get in! :scared:

We are headed down sept 9-19 (AKV value 2-bed), 19-22 THV, and will be calling tomorrow to add BCV 2 bed for the 23nd- then after I can get another point am hoping to book the 22 at BBC as well. We also take the kiddos out of school to go..it is so worth it to stay when it costs the least amount of points..the temp is warm enough for the water parks but not stifling every day..and the lines are so much more managable for the younger children!

We haven't booked anything yet because we need to see the outcome of our mum's hospital appointment. We may get an extra holiday in May, otherwise we'll be having a one-bedroom apartment in September! :rotfl:

Whatever type room we stay in, we will be going in September from 7th until the 23rd, at SSR and BWV. At least, that's the plan! ;) Can't wait to be able to confirm things one way or another so I can start to get excited about it all!

We are booked for Sept 12th to 20th. We are celebrating my in-laws 40th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Disney and a split stay. 4 Nights at AKV and 4 Nights at SSR.

CSR for the first 2 nights then my parents are joining us (I found out today!) for 5 nights in a 2 BR.
I am waiting untill the 27th (7 month window) to book. I want a 2 BR SV at AKL or a 2 BR MK view at BLT (OK I MAY BE DREAMING ON THAT ONE!!! :rotfl2: )
We would also take BCV or VWL

Thennn I found out that I need to go to training at the Contemporary 9/14 & 9/15. We decided to leave on 9/11 to make a long weekend of it and have our first stay at BLT. We have a LV studio for that trip and a 1 BR at SSR for his birthday. It's all good! :woohoo:

Just changed our SSR stay, now staying at BWV studio September 23 to September 27 then moving to AKV Kidani village September 27 to October 2 in a 1bedroom. MS made commnet this morining that i thought was strange, only phase one will be open at the time. I thought Kidani was to be completely open by May 1st. Still can't wait to cross more resorts off of the list :cool1:

We will be there in September before and after the 2009 Member Cruise. We are arriving in on Friday September 11th - 13th and staying at OKW. Then we board the Disney Wonder for the Members Only cruise. When we get off the ship we head back to OKW for one night (17th) before we head up to HHI for another 8 nights.

This will be a blast....3 different types of vacations all built into one!!

Hubby and I, his daughter and her Hubby and their 5 kids...a 5 yr old, 2 1/2 yr old triplets, 1 yr old baby. We went a couple of years ago (the triplets were 7 months) and had a great time staying at BCV.
They loved it so much, asked if we could stay there again.

After reserving a 2-bedroom at SSR (home resort) at 11 months out, then switching to a treehouse villa on Feb. 8th .... changing to AKV Kidani on Sept 27th... we finally decided that we wanted to stay at Jambo house as we had Boma, Simba's Place, Mara and the pool and could take any bus marked DTD to Kidani to use their facilities.
So we now have booked 1 - Value 2 bedroom and 2 - Value Studios for 11 people... 6 adults and 5 kids 12 yrs to turning 1yr on Oct 1st!

We gave good friends who got married on Christmas night a wedding present of a honeymoon on our DVC points. She has never been to WDW and is so excited. When they found out that we are going 9/26 - 10/4, they asked if they could go the same time as us. So they will be in a studio at Animal Kingdom at The Jambo House (although they are waitlisted for Kidani Village) waking up each morning to a Savanna View. I can't wait to see her reaction to WDW.

Myself, DH and DS (3) will be at BWV from Sept 6-12th.

It's my 3rd DVC trip and DS's second time. I took DS and my parents back in November 2008.

DH has not been to WDW since 2000. He doesn't really like Disney, but still allowed me to purchase DVC since I love it so much and now DS is an addict too :lol:

DH is only looking forward to German food and beer. But I'm sure he will love seeing DS's reaction to everything.
