View Full Version : The ABC's of Flowers - A Game!
Snowwark
05-28-2002, 05:12 AM
Let's try an ABC game. :)
To make things a little more interesting, let's post 2 annuals/perennials/vines OR shrubs, for each letter of the alphabet.
We'll use the common plant name where possible, example - Virginia Bluebell, not Mertensia virginica (yep, I looked it up! :) ). BTW - Virginia Bluebell would be a "B" plant (last name).
Let's also try to stay away from using a colour the plant is availabe in as a name. The letter is "Y", use Yarrow instead of Yellow Marigolds.
If possible, post the name of a plant you have in your garden!
Is that clear as mud to everyone? :)
BTW - If these suggestions are not strictly followed, the guilty Bud will be dunked in Amid Chaos's new rain barrel!! ;) :D ;)
Here we go!!
Astilbe - have them!
....next A plant?
