Is there no whirlpool tub in 2 bedroom Jambo House?

I'm reading the differences between Kidani and Jambo. I can't figure out if there's a whirlpool tub or not...

There is but it is a tub/shower combo. It's kind of hard to climb in to take a shower.

There was not enough room to put the shower and jet tub separately, so they used the same 5 feet of space for both. So you have a jet tub with a shower head.

We like having them separate. We can bathe twice as many people at the same time.

That's why If I were paying 1 bedroom points, I would want the Kidani 1 bedroom which has a jet tub, a walk in shower and a shower/tub combo compared to the Jambo 1 bed that has a jet tub/shower combo.

Yeah, that's not as good. But I think it will be OK for one vacation. I've never stayed at AKL before!

I believe I have read at some point there may be a few units that do not have the jetted tub due to being handicap accessable and have a roll in shower instead of the jetted tub.
Any body know if that is true?:confused3

Any body know if that is true?:confused3Yes that's true. For example, one of the 1BR villas on the Concierge level (6th floor) is an HA room and has a roll-in shower and no tub.

We're used to OKW with sort of the square shaped tub, then the separate shower. We stayed at Jambo last June. The tub is elongated, like a bathtub, not a garden tub. It's taller than a standard bathtub, which as someone remarked, made it difficult to get in and out of. The bathroom at Jambo in general, seemed to be made for NBA players, not us average height folks!

I had villa 6202 which is the 1 bed concierge villa with a roll in shower only

Totally did not see that coming

Was not happy but nothing else was available over Christmas

Daily housekeeping came in handy with that unit. If not I would have spent alot of time mopping and washing wet towels

We also had the other ha concierge 1 bed villa last Christmas it has a tub with grips. We only stayed 1 night but it worked for us much better
