We will be going to US in a couple of months for the first time and staying at RPR. I am hoping folks can give me some suggestions for room requests at RPR. We would like a room most convenient to walking to the parks - which Tower is that ....is it Tower 3?
Also if anyone had particular floor or location we could try to request that would be helpful too
Thanks.

If you plan on walking to the parks in the morning then I would say that Tower 1 is gets you on your way quickly onto the path. Some standard rooms in Tower 1 also overlook IOA so be sure to ask for one of those rooms upon checkin. We usually walk the farthest we can down the hallway to the stairwell and walk down the stairs and out the side door to the path. If you want to be close to the boat ramp then Tower 3 should be requested. Last year we stayed in Tower 3 and it was also easy to get to both the boat and the walking path.
Hope this helped.

I find all the towers ,with the exception of tower 2, to be close to walkways, and even from there is not a great difference.
I always request a high floor with Pool view, as some low floors tend to be quite dark with all the Foilage around the resort

This thread has lots of room reviews and pictures. It takes awhile to get through (25 pages!! ) But it gave me tons of info in requesting a tower and room for our trip next week.

We were in romm 1546 in Oct. 2006. Here's the views: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=15065683&postcount=242
I'm not sure if this room is available for standard room rate or if its considered a water-view room rate.
