Delta is back at the port!

We just got back Sunday from the 3 day Wonder and Delta accepted our luggage at the port! Yay! I heard that they just started this week. Such a deal!

With any luck Delta will still be there when we cruise on Nov 30th. How do we arrange for Delta to take our luggage?
We are flying in the day before we cruise and we are flying home about 8hrs after we get off the ship.

Color coded tags are put in your stateroom before departure. Your luggage is gathered up at 11pm the night before departure. In the morning, after breakfast, you leave the ship in the same manner as you boarded. Just outside is a covered area where you go to the color tag that is on your bag and they are set up in numerical order by stateroom. Porters are waiting for you as you step off the ship, so you grab one and lead him to your luggage. They then load up your luggage and walk you through customs (we didn't get stopped). The porter will take the luggage to whichever airline you are with (don't forget to tip). You then wait in line to check in with the airline and they put airline tags on the luggage. Badda bing, you're done!
