Is the deluxe plan really worth the extra $30 per person? My DH and I are going away for just 2 nights 3 days.
Any suggestions?

It really depends on what you want out of your trip.
For us, nice restaurants and foods we can't get at home are a big part of any vacation, so the deluxe plan is perfect. We use it for 2 meals per day for the most part - a sitdown breakfast or lunch and then a signature dinner.
Since you're going for a very short time, you might want to take into account the time sitdown meals take away from the park. If you're hoping to pack a ton of rides and attractions into your time, the deluxe plan wouldn't be worth doing. If, on the other hand, you're looking for a slower paced adult weekend, the fine dining might fit well.
As far as value goes the deluxe plan is a no-brainer if you use most of the credits for table service, so the decision really comes down to whether several sit down meals each day fits into your overall vacation plans.

Like the pp said, it depends on your agenda and taste..I tho, only want to worry about scheduling 1 TS meal a day...I have too much to see and do and with just one ts, it's a great break and we can adjust our time frame if need be:) Good luck with whatever you decide...

thanks everyone :)
My plan is to just reconnect with my dh, I honestly dont care if we do not go on anything...............sadly I just want to spend time with dh without hearing "mommy or daddy". I know it is going to be a bit weird, without the children, but the idea of having me and my dh come first is going to be amazing too.
So the plan is to just relax and relax some more :lovestruc
I think it's a much better deal than the regular ddp. However, when we do the delux we generally only do signature meals. For our anniversary this year we will do the delux ddp and do a signature meal every night and do an very early lunch. 1 signature and 1 reg TS a day for $71 is a value to us. However, we don't do it for every trip. We do like to do the delux when we stay one night so that we can split our 3 TS over 2 days. This works great for us.

In that case, I'd definitely say go for the deluxe plan and hit a couple of the signature restaurants for dinner. There's nothing more lovely and romantic than lobster and fireworks at Narcoosees. :cloud9:

I just talked to my dh, and we are going to do the deluxe food plan.
I think I just needed to be talked in to it, since it is extra $$.

Do you get to choose an appetizer in addition to the entree adn dessert on the deluxe dining plan?

Honestly - my only concern is too much food and not being able to eat everything :)
Crazy, but every time we go to disney I gain weight because I swear all we do is eat..........................and I enjoy it too :rotfl:
