Hey everyone,

Now we're only 2 weeks away from the main event (well i land in 2 weeks and will be running to the expo anyway!) i thought it might be a good time to see who would like to share lifts to the start.

I'm at POFQ and would love to share a cab if possible. We can get a list going of other hotels if you like. Up to you guys really. I don't know how cab booking works so any tips from previous marathon runners would be greatly appreciated.

They don't have the marathon busses at the resorts like they did in January?

The busses are only running from 3 resorts - one value, one moderate and one deluxe. I don't remember which specific one. However, it is not POFQ or POR for the moderate. Anyone staying there will have to get a taxi or drive themself.

Wendi has setup a taxi for herself, her dad, my DH & I from Saratoga Springs.

ETA: I found info in the 1st post of the Calling all Princess 1/2 Marathoners (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1817457) thread - It is All Stars, Caribbean Beach, and Polynesian.

Kate If you don't mind NOT getting to the race at a silly early time, then I could swing by and give you a ride.
Unless there is a path from your hotel to the WOS you are not allowed to run on the roads at WDW, if you are seen security will pick you up.

thanks so much for the offer, but i'd hate to put you out. I'm hoping my parents will still be jetlagged and be able to get up in time, but we'll see. Ahh i've just relised what you mean about running around disney! I meant i'll be getting myself unpacked and over to WOS asap! Sorry for any confusion- good grief i'd never dream of running on some of those roads anyway

No problem, if you do need a ride let me know, you wouldn't be putting me out, I just don't get to races hours a head of time, like some people like to.
I'll see you at the meet, have a safe flight.
