Helloooooooo, we're home. Another fantabuloussly spiffing holiday.


Highs were nearly everything. We had the most gorgeous and indulgent meals we have ever had. No rain - worst we had was a fine drizzle on a couple of (short) occasions. Not too cold (never even got the thermals out of the drawer). Great character interaction (16 different characters during 2 meals) and LOTS of shopping!

There was also some stuff-I-can't-show (The Easter Exchange is coming up soon ;) ) and a new t-shirt each for Dtr and I, plus she bought a Flounder plush and an Aristocats snowglobe.

Trip report is on the way. I nearly decided to call it the "Get a Room" trip. :rolleyes: I don't know if it was the effect of Valentines Day but everywhere we have been this week we have seen people making out. I don't mean just cuddling in a queue, but open mouthed full-on slurping noisy kissing. Not just the youngsters either. People with older children with them too. When I can hear you kissing, ........ well, bleuch. :sick:

There were very few lows .....

the Park was broken yesterday and today

we had to come home

...that's it really.

cant wait for your tr. they are always a great read. i know what you mean about coming home i almost cried my last night when i thought i had missed the castle being lit up but instead i was right on time. then walking away knowing i was going home was the worst feeling ever lol

Welcome back and I'm gonna say the same thing as the others have... the park was broken??! lol.

All right - I'll put you all out of your misery. :rotfl:

In the space of 24 hours the following rides were all out of action:-

BTM
Indiana Jones (full day closure)
Phantom Manor
POTC
Peter Pan
Casey Jr (full day closure)
LPDCDF (full day closure)
Space Mountain
Buzz

I felt sorry for anybody who only had Wednesday and Thursday in the Park as so many things were broken/shut

Thats terrible! Was there any reason given?

Hope there all up and working again when we go end of march!

I would be really disappointed if they shut rides down like that. Were only there for 2 and a half days!

We were there from Sunday to Wednesday and I did look out for your pink boots !

Was warmer than Christmas but we still had thermals on everyday

I agree with your broken bit,

BTM for 3 hours on Monday mid morning - after being forced to wait until 10.45 for Fastpasses then it broke
Phantom Manor on Monday morning
Aerosmith (we were only 20 places away) on Tuesday

Even my wife is threatening to use the excuse "technical problems" at home

Have to admit I only wore them on 2 out of 5 days (blisters!) but Dtr wore them all the time. :)
