With the 40% off offer, this is an option

How big is this type of room?

The party would be my family (me, the wife, a nearly 3 year old and a 6 year old) and my sister. Would this be a good mix in this type of room?

In the room you get 2 double beds and a single bed settee/day bed sort of thing. You could put the kids in one double and your sister on the single (assuming you don't want to share with your sister;) )

The rooms are larger than standard. They are in the corners where the hotel corridors bend round and are an irregular shape. We stayed in one last year and it was a very comfy size.

We had a free upgrade to one of these last month - they're a really nice size room. They should be ample size for the 5 of you so long as the 2 double beds and 1 single sofa bed is acceptable.

You'll want to make sure that they are actually covered with the offer though as I'm not sure if they are or not - some offers only apply to certain room types and as the family rooms are a seperate room type, it's possible the offer may not apply.

Will the youngest still be under 3 ?

If so they do not count towards occupancy, so you would only need a standard room.

There are five of us and every visit we book, we look at all the options but the supplements for the family rooms at DLH can be £300 per night so we have preferred to stay at the Marriott as you get a 2 bed house with 2.5 bathrooms

However the DLH is a fantastic hotel and definitely worth staying at (we persuaded the in laws to go and officially one of our children was in their room)

Just checked this and they are :goodvibes Pleased now as that could work in our favour too :)
