Loews Hotel question - not USO

I know this is not about Universal, but I know a lot of you have stayed at various other Loews Hotels. I'm a plantinum You First member until the end of the year and would like to use it as much as I can! Thinking of a short trip to New Orleans and I see they have a hotel there. Has anyone stayed there? If so, can you tell me about it. Is it located in an area that's easy to get around on foot? What kind of upgrade could I expect to get there? Thanks!

The thing I have found about other hotels and the upgrades is that you have to call early. If you are even thinking about your suite upgrade, I would call and book as soon as you can. You can always cancel if you change your mind.
