Canyou "visit" the Nick Hotel

I am staying at POFQ from 2/22-3/1 and my four year old son is a Spongebob and Dora NUT! :banana:

I would like to just visit the Nick hotel and maybe grab lunch at the food court with my son, my 6 year old son and my 16 year old son.

Can you just drive over and go inside and look around, eat and buy souv.?

Is there a gated security and if so what do I say?

I was going to try and do a character breakfast before checking in at Disney Sunday morning

(we will be at a cheapo hotelo Sat,. night because we are driving 12 hours and won't get to Orlando until evening) :worship:

any tips, advice or ideas.

Also I'm a divorced mom :hippie: traveling with my three boys. :grouphug: Any tips or suggestions that I may not have already read on this fab site.

I can only tell you that about 3 years ago when I wanted to go to their gift shop I was stopped at the security gate and told that unless you stay there you can't go on the property not even to buy something at the gift shop. A bit extreme I think. :)

Also, you should post this on the main Hotel and Attractions board, this is the review board. You'll get more hits on the main board.
