Because in particular moments, in the dusk of a late May evening, when everything glows, when green seems greener than you've ever seen it before, and the roses you planted are beginning to flower, future tasks don't matter, neither do past worries - because you witness a perfect moment of soul-restoring beauty.

So, true, so true!

We are having a cool, but very beautiful May. I love walking among my flowers right now....admiring nature....without the onerous task of watering, watering, watering....just trying to keep them from wilting.....

Excellent quote today! I love May evenings in the garden - especially late May. It is just as described. Because of the cooler weather we had for most of this spring... the May beauty is likely to spill over into June - as everything is about two weeks behind schedule. :)
