To non-gardeners this is no big deal, but I had really admired the look of the fountain grass I saw around Epcot. If you haven't seen it, it is kind of a shorter version of pampas grass with long dark mauve flower spikes from summer to winter.
I had not been able to locate some locally until I found some at Lowe's (home improvement) garden department yesterday! Ahhhh, my own little touch of Epcot!
If anyone is familiar or has some, what are your experiences with it? I read that in early spring to cut back the dead growth to 6-10"
but any hints on feeding frequency? I do use compost and mulch everything.:Pinkbounc

That is so fun! I will have to look for this grass at Epcot on my upcoming trip. I will be there in about three weeks. Where is this located at?

If I remember correctly, I saw it several places and possibly even at MK around Big Thunder Mountain. I was lucky enough to have a friend along who worked at a garden center previously who identified it for me. :)
