So, I am feeling quite crappy today and thought I would start my trip report. :cool1: This is probably the fastest I have ever started one, but since I can't think too hard if it doesn't make much sense just go with the flow.

I am part of the disboutiquers thread, we are a bunch of ladies and a few men who sew for our children and make beautiful custom creations for the world! Check out the thread on the family board if you haven't ever seen it! You'll be hooked in no time!

It all started with a girl named HeatherSue, whom had gotten back from disney and had a wonderful trip with her extended family. She was longing to go back so booked a trip with just her mom and 2 kids for February. Well, a few of us disboutiquers live in Florida and decided they would meet up for the day. This turned into alot of wanting to go too. Including me! I wanted to get to meet everyone in real life! I had only ever met one of them and she was the nicest so everyone else had to be that nice too, right?

When the 7 for 4 deal came out I thought about it but we don't tend to book deals as room only seems cheaper. I eventually checked out the price and it couldn't be beat! One week in February for what amounted to about $32 a night (if you credit the $200 gift card towards the room and subtract out the price of tickets, disboard math!). So, who could pass that up! I booked for Feb 7th - 14th, Happy Valentine's Day to me!

Cast of Characters! Stay tuned for pictures since I am being lazy and don't feel like finding any right now.

DH - Lin - He is a good disney traveler and sometimes I think he likes it more then I do.

Me - Jessica - Grew up going to disney every year.

DS6 - Dallas - Thought Mickey was his brother until he was old enough to understand! He has been to the parks way too many times and loves all things disney.

DH, Lin always says we can't go for longer then a week because of his work schedule but last minute it is always changed and we can usually end up leaving a day ahead of time. I had not booked a room for friday night and disney was completely full. Unless I wanted to stat at Saratoga Springs for $334 for the night, uh, no thanks! Something off property for the evening will suit us just fine.

Dallas had school friday, so while he was at school Lin and I finished packing and got the car ready. We decided to pick him up around noon and head out. It takes us about 8 hours to drive there. So, got the kiddo from school and we were on our way. He didn't know until the night before we were going to disney. It isn't that I don't tell him, I just don't tell him specifics and he doesn't ask.

We stopped at McD's on the way there to grab a quick bite to eat. Dallas was just starving! Well, he decided he would finish up his meal in the car and we could get going. I put Lin in charge while I went to the restroom. Bad idea! Somehow Dallas threw away his meal. Now, he meant to, but I was not a happy camper! He had barely eaten and usually eats a 4 pc chicken happy meal along with me having to order him a seperate hamburger. I wasn't hungry so didn't eat. Dallas got a nice talking to and it was decided he would not be getting his own meal for some time, he can eat off my plate!

I know, no pictures, boring! Sorry.

We arrived outside the back gates of Disney World a little before 9 pm and decided on a stay at the Country Inn and Suites. We have stayed here before and I enjoyed it. I went in to ask the cost of the room and of course they play a little game with you. He told me $99. Well, me being thrifty like I am was not paying that for a room just to sleep in. So I gave him the look. He quickly went down to $89. I said $79 or I would go to Comfort Inn for $59. I really should have gone lower and not so sure why I said $79, but he said fine. So we got our room and went up to sleep.

They have free internet (unlike disney, what is up with that anyways) so we logged on and played around before going to bed.

Next morning, we woke up, hit the breakfast they have. It was good, but the people were not, I'll save you from the disgusting story. We then headed off to Pop to check in. Oh, we did this in no hurry what so ever.

Got to Pop and checked in, room was ready! Whoo hoo! We were in the 70's (8 tracks with the big Mickey phone and Big Wheel). We have never been in this building before and also had a lake view. Exactly what I wanted, but I don't even bother asking for such things at disney. We were also on the first floor, makes life so much easier!

I upgraded our 1 day tickets at check in to 7 day since I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I figured we would use about 5-6 of the days, boy was I wrong! We had also made lunch reservations for LTT at the MK. There was going to be a mini meet at the flag pole that evening so we headed there first.

Pictures coming soon!

We arrived sometime after noon at the T&TC and had 1:15 ressies for LTT. Not much time to do anything but get there.

We parked in Sleepy! This is the perfect parking spot and obvoiusly someone thinks at the MK. It is close enough and within walking distance that we never once saw a tram. Good thing we didn't want to ride it!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0632.jpg

Dallas asked to take the monorail across and we did since the boat is much better when it is super crowded.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0636.jpg

I find that I take less and less scenic pictures it seems each time, even though I try to remember to snap a couple here and there.

We went through the castle which to me seems hardly open ever anymore.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0639.jpg

In fact, Dallas did not really remember ever going through it before (even though he has way more then once).

We waited for a couple of minutes at LTT before being sat.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0642.jpg

They always have the best food!

I got turkey and Lin got the pot roast. Dallas got to enjoy turkey and the sides off my plate and we all drank water! This is unheard of for Lin but he said he would this trip. I forget why, besides I always tell him what a rip off sodas are.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0647.jpg

I on the other hand prefer water over anything. Dallas loves water too, but if given a choice of that or soda he would easily choose soda since it isn't something I really give him.

After our quick lunch we headed out. We rode BTMR, after getting on POTC. We had gotten a fastpass so were passing the time. After getting off the parade had just started so we were more or less stuck in that little stretch of land and decided to go to Tom Sawyer's Island. Dallas just loves this place BUT he loves it at DL. He has never been to the one at WDW so this was first (like Kristine said, always firsts!). He was a bit disappointed that inside the caves you could actually move vs DL where you are squished!

He had fun anyways running around and I watched a bit of the parade from afar.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0658.jpg

And, last but not least, an enjoyable game of checkers before heading back across the river.

Dallas thought Mickey was his brother! :rotfl2:

I love how you talked the hotel price down!

What IS up with no free internet at Disney? $10/day??? Come on!!

I wanna hear the disgusting story!

We always order water at restaurants, too! On occasion I will order a pop and then regret it when I see how much they charged me for it!

I don't like the idea of being squished in a dark cave!:scared1:

Awww...did you play checkers in Teresa's honor? ;)

Woo Hoo!!! I made it over!!! I'm so proud of you for haggling over the price of the hotel room. I didn't even know that was possible! Thanks for all the pics of the Tom Sawyer's Island. I still haven't made it over there (at DL or WDW). I seriously can't believe we didn't run into each other all day on Sat until the flag pole meet!

After Tom Sawyers Island we headed towards the front of the park to check out the little place, I'll call it the camera center, but I really have no idea the name of it.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0662.jpg

We played around and took pictures of all the cutouts and then sat down and watched old cartoons play. Dallas just loves them after staying at All Star Movies last time and them having them playing non stop. He was quite disappinted he couldn't find them on the TV this time.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0674.jpg

And for all my What not to Wear at Disney fans, here is a picture for you. Check out the heels on the one pair of boots! They had to have been atleast 6 inches thick!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0680.jpg

We were heading towards the Tomorrowland Transit Authority and to check out the wait time for Buzz when .....

I suddenly spot a custom! But this is just not any custom! This is a marvelous Tinkerbell skirt on a beautiful child!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0681.jpg

It was Morgan, Cindee and her SO (is that the right code?), Shell. For some reason Cindee your disboard name is escaping me right this second. It took us just a few seconds to figure out who who was and the kids started talking right away!

At this point, I started snapping pictures and didn't stop for a LONG time! We headed over to the TTA and rode together! but first Morgan gave Dallas some surfing lessons!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0682.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0683.jpg

Aren't they adorable!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0684-1.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0688.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0689.jpg

After riding we headed towards the flag pole for our 6:15 mini meet. We were quite early but enjoyed the time just talking.

Tom and Leighanna saw us and came on over. Leighanna joined right in on the fun. Really, the kids got along marvelously, it was amazing!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0690-1.jpg

Then along came Stacy (SoHappy) and Kristine (Tnkrbll something or other close to that!). They were heading out for dinner and noticed the kids in customs. Decided they must know us! I just had to ask if they were friends IRL because you sure would have thought so, but nope, just internet friends until the day before! Sorry, not sure why I didn't snap a picture.

The kids played several games, eye spy, trying to make the other laugh and tag being a few. We were starting to be overrun by a group of young folks from Argentina (or somewhere) and decided to move in a bit. So we went towards the flag pole. Shortly after along came Steph (Stephres), Jacob and Megan.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0694.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0695.jpg

At this point we weren't sure who else was supposed to be there but we did know Cathy was, so the kids and I paraded around the circle with them shouting CATHY... CATHY... CATHY! We decided that if she was sitting there that it would get her attention. NOTHING.

Came back and someone's phone rang and it was Cathy! She was up main street way too far so came down and the parade started shortly afterward. Cathy was with her friend, Alice. Alice doesn't get us, but that is okay because she was super nice and had cute shoes on (which was brought to my attention later, somehow I didn't notice them). Cathy had on the cutest Minnie dot capri's and I am for sure making me a pair next time I go!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0696.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0697.jpg

After the parade is where the fun started! Cathy had the perfect viewing spot picked out, the trick was getting there. So, we start the trek up Main St with about a zillion other people and decide we'll go through the stores, easiest option. It worked all the way until the end where somehow Jacob and I both started watching a different person in a red sweatshirt! Once she headed into the restroom we realized it was the wrong person! So, we called Cathy! She described where she was and walked around (ran into Tom and family along the way, they had quite a good viewing spot too).

Finally found Cathy and friend. At this point, Megan had to go the restroom. Now, I can't much blame her because I decided I would go too, but we were just outside the restrooms! No issues, we made it back in time for the fireworks and tink.

Stacy called (I think) to find us, so when I returned her and Kristine were there too!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0699.jpg

Lin took a mini group photo.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0701.jpg

And then we watched the fireworks.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0707.jpg

It was at this point that i decided Megan and Dallas sure got along great! Megan was talking up a storm! throughout the entire show! Dallas is the same way!

Everyone headed in their own directions after the fireworks more or less. I think most headed to their rooms. Kristine and Stacy were heading to the HM so invited us along. We hadn't been on it yet and that is Dallas' favorite ride. Even though he acted like he was scared of it going in for some reason.

Now, Lin for some reason decided at this point to stray from us, so he and Dallas went and hopped in a doom buggy! Stacy kindly offered to go by herself but we didn't want that and figured we could all squeeze into a car. Guess I forgot how small they actually were. We got to know each other real well!

Then Dallas and Lin hit the cars while we took a break outside waiting. We rode TTA together.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0716.jpg

And then Buzz too. I thought I took a picture of them in their car, but I don't see it anywhere.

By that time we were all pooped and headed towards the room. It was almost 10 anyways.

We took the monorail again.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0719.jpg

And it took Dallas all of about 10 seconds to fall asleep.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0720.jpg

He actually was in the other bed and I just switched him and rolled him over, so he has that nice mark on his cheek. I was also glad to see he was loving his penguin, Gloria. He doesn't usually snuggle with her anymore because her fur will get old and he likes her new. This is our 3rd Gloria so she stays nice looking.

Yep, when Dallas was little he thought Mickey was his brother he saw him so much! :rotfl2:

The $10/day at disney is rediculous! Lin says next time we aren't staying onsite unless they give us free internet! We usually sign up for AOL for the time we'll be gone, but the dial up was so SLOW!

Uh, let's just say, if you don't think being squished in a dark cave sounds like fun then skip DL! WDW is fine, although it is dark, but not nearly as dark.

Of course! I had to post that real quick so I could be first. Then, I went back and added my comments! :cool1:

I am so cheap that I'll try and talk anyone down in price! Dr Phil always says anything can be haggled for but I don't really agree, most prices are set in stone. Seems hotels are always so wishy washy with AAA pricing, Entertainment card pricing and all the like. Lin doesn't like to do it, but I will. All they can do is say no!

On with the show! I guess you would call this Day 3, more or less, at Epcot! Lin enjoyed doing nothing so much the morning before that we followed suit this morning. So we didn't get to Epcot until around 11 or so.

We parked in Discover, which was behind the tree line and pretty unheard of for Epcot. I have never parked that far back. The parks all seemed extremely crowded and the couple of big foreign groups along with some cheerleaders didn't help. I must say I didn't notice the cheerleaders nearly as much as the groups.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0721.jpg

We passed on Spaceship Earth because the wait was 40 minutes and I wasn't standing in that line. Got fastpasses for Test Track and then went in Mouse Gears. I am not usually a big shopper but forgot my earrings and wanted to buy a cheap pair. I had loved Megan's the night before and was pretty much what I wanted anyways, plain Mickey looking diamonds. So, got those and then told Lin to look for these little plastic mickey people. I had seen them in a room window on my walk to buy chocolate milk earlier this morning and they were so cute. Well, we found them.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0722.jpg

They are called Vinylmation and I am only person in the world who can choose the most expensive item to fall in love with. They were $10 each, not too bad, but it was all a big game you see. :confused3 You do not know which one you will get, there are 11 in all I think and then a mystery one. So, knowing me I would get the super ugly snow white's apple one and then I would have to buy another. And well, some were okay, some were super cute and some were to die for. I think Dallas wanted the monorail one. So, of course, remember, the game :confused3 , you can buy a whole box and be guaranteed 2 complete sets and then 1 mystery one. And the lady gave us the whole ebay spiel about selling them. Lin fell for that because we used to pay for most of our disney trip by buying stuff and then selling it on ebay! :) Of course times are bad now and disney prices jut went too high, so we can't do that anymore. But Lin had a  and decided we would just sell the others so get the set!

Dallas wanted to open one, so we did. I quickly decided we better buy an extra because he was having fun with it and I was afraid he would either lose it or ding it up (because other kids were coming) and didn't want the "set" ruined. So Lin ran back in and got another, Kermit this time!

We had just walked out of the shop though and my phone rang! What a nice noise! We never use our phones so I was lucky I knew how to answer it! Really, I was! It was Cindee and Morgan had wanted to find Dallas. So we told them where we were and they headed over.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0723.jpg

They were pretty close actually so within a minute or so we saw them walking up! Morgan looked so cute again this day! Complete with the best mom BBB do ever! If I ever have a girl I'll be hiring Cindee for sure!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0724.jpg

And along came Jord! Jord was just as adorable as I thought she would be! All decked out with her princess crown and all!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0725.jpg

We still had about and hour or more before the fast pass could be used and for some reason we just sat there. I totally enjoyed it and maybe that is why I never once thought to walk somewhere! The kids just played, totally entertaining themselves, Lin and Shell talked and I got to talk to Cindee all by myself with really very little interruption! That was nice! :dance3:

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0727.jpg

Now, while we were sitting there I had to check out Cindee's totally cool stroller holder she made! I knew someone made one and remember pictures being posted on the disboutique thread but it is a joke to ever try and go back to find something, so I studied it and might just make us one. I really think we could be done with the stroller, it is only used for napping, but I can't imagine not having it! I love to throw our junk under it and Dallas usually falls asleep atleast once per day, usually waiting for something.

So, it was finally time for the fastpass for TT. Lin took Morgan and Dallas on. I am so glad that I got one. I usually get one but don't always go on whatever ride. I was kind of torn, sorry disboutiquers. Our time was 1:50 and we were to meet at 2 in China. I KNEW we wouldn't make it but I also couldn't see not having them go on it, good thing I did, because we never went back to Epcot. I had thought at one point that I would walk over while Lin and Dallas rode and they could find me, that was before we met up with Cindee, but all worked out and we were a bit late!

And now for the DISBOUTIQUERS MEET!

I took ALOT and I mean ALOT of pictures! And I'll probably just post them all! So have fun looking! I'll have a few comments along the way too.

Tom's ruffles and dresses! WOW! They are 100x more beautiful in person! I got to see 2 of his Feliz's and they were both amazing!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0730.jpg

Kathy was just wonderful! I wish we would have had more time to chat! And Lin enjoyed chatting with her DH too! Thank goodness he was good with all the DH's this trip! He had a LONG time to chat with them!

Kristine was so good with all the kids! She actually cared and listened to what they had to say! I would have been like uh huh, yep, good, etc!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0731.jpg

Poor Jacob. He didn't seem to enjoy himself at all today.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0732.jpg

Alot of the kids had these cute little puppet things! They were quite cute, but glad Dallas doesn't ask for much. Now, if I was a kid I would have died until I got one! They became quite tangled too, but Stacy was determined to untangle them and I think there was a secret to them also.

Nope, never once Grumpy! Not sure why my 2 pictures you look that way! I was actually impressed with how you always looked so cute in all the pictures.

Really...where are those pics :confused3 Every pic you have of me I look like a loon!!! :rotfl:

I truly enjoyed the kids company. And that Morgan is soooo cute. I think that pic is when she came up to me and reminded me that we didn't "get much of a chance to talk" the night before :rotfl2: and was wondering if we could "have a chat now". LOVED her.

Wow you are flying through your TR! I feel so inadequate now!!!

You forgot to mention how many compliments those FAB cuties shirts got that afternoon. People went out of the way to compliment them.

AND you solved the mystery of the Vinylmation green/red one. It's Snow White's apple. Do you know how long Stacy and I contemplated that one and couldn't figure it out???? That particular one is the whole reason I didn't buy one for Aisling. I was afraid I'd get it. I almost spent the $40 on the Small World one but if you try to collect the big ones, where on earth do you put them?

Oh crap! I forgot my story and I never had a story to tell before about cute shirts, so I must tell it in a minute!

You do not look like loon, although I will say when I posted it I thought you would say something. You were just mid talking when I snapped the picture. Don't worry, I got plenty more cute ones coming.

I haven't left the computer all day (once I finally got up at 1 pm) and Dallas has not left the tv except to finish up some homework. Yep, bad mommy day, and I even let him watch SpongeBob! :scared1: He was on :cloud9: and  his mommy. I did veto Pokemon though. What is it with him learning how to change the channel up and down, he used to just type in #'s so had no idea these other channels existed!

Since I never get to tell a story like this I must go back and tell it now!

Lin came out of test track and told me the guy liked their shirts so much that he asked if they wanted to ride again. They were walking out and he stopped took them around something and to the front of the line! :cheer2:

This of course made me super happy because most people don't even notice our shirts, if they do, they ask where I bought them. :confused3 I get it, I really do I guess. They do just look like something you could buy!

So I was on :cloud9: for quite a while after this! The cuties did grab the attention of alot of folks, much more then most things, but our vacation family I think won out this trip!

Aisling got to watch SpongeBob today too. (LORD I hate SpongeBob). I have a fever and I'm just not in the mood to argue. Not going to be a good week since I have a funeral and a trial (for work) that starts on Thursday.

Aisling learned around the holidays how to do the up/down thing on the channels. Disney is 24 and Nick is 25 so she quickly changes the channel now if she doesn't want me to know that she's watching SpongeBob. When did they learn to be so sneaky?!?!

On to Norway

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0758.jpg

I am sure the people in the shop were happy once we were out of there. The kids were having quite a fun time with the helmets, swords and sheilds.

I have no idea why the boys were standing like this.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0772.jpg

Once we left Norway it was time to head towards ESPN. Some of us walked, some of us took the boat. I took the boat thinking that it was much further, but really it wasn't that far at all.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0773.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0777.jpg

I was amazed with how well ESPN worked out! Karen (karebear) was waiting for us when we arrived and I think our party consisted of 31 people or around there. We only waited 10 or so minutes I would say and then we were sat. They had several small tables. This was good and bad. I would have liked to sit with more, but for me, I got sit with Piper and T and Mac so it worked well!

And I was impressed with the food. I got a bacon burger but it was delicious! A few got nachos and I almost dug right in they looked delicious!

Wow, look at my lumpy pockets! I didn't carry a purse on this trip, so I had my phone, credit card, id, and everything in my pockets.

I love the picture of Luke and Dallas standing with their arms crossed. They're such handome little guys!

The kids really were amazing! I think the biggest fight was between Luke and Dallas and it was over before I knew it happened! Funny enough, if I was guessing, I would bet that Dallas was fighting for Luke's attention, not Tessa's! :rotfl:

Tom, you look great in pictures! Especially since I was just snapping, no posing! Dallas usually atleast eats all his meal so that is one reason I was pretty mad! I do usually split the burger with him but lately he tells me wants his own, then of course only 3 nuggets get eaten.

:goodvibes Hi Jessica! It so neat to hear what everyone else did and see all of your pics. I really enjoyed chatting with you and the other dissers! Dallas is such a sweet boy! I started taking a picture of the parking spot last trip. Oddly enough, since I started we have never once tried to think about where we parked nor have we needed to because we have always just been in an easy to know place. Atleast it gives me another picture to scrapbook (someday :confused3 )

PS- don't forget you are *required* to scan that indiana jones pin that Dallas traded/stole. I NEED to make that for our trip in Sept.

Oh, I'll get on that. I saw it the other day. Everything is thrown in th entryway and kitchen. We have Jeanne to thank for the pin, or maybe we should thank Luke, or then again Sawyer!

PS- don't forget you are *required* to scan that indiana jones pin that Dallas traded/stole. I NEED to make that for our trip in Sept.

He did NOT steal it. Luke was very excited to GIVE it to him. :rotfl: And while we are on the subject of pin trading, Heather, have Tessa hold onto the Jasmine one Jayden traded her. Mike looked it up in his book and said it was valuable. Not sure I actually believe him, and by valuable he means worth slightly more than we paid for it, but she did get it in Disneyland several years ago, so maybe it is rare by now.

Okay, so where was I? Oh, yes. We had just tried for a group picture at ESPN. I really hope that someone has a better one than me! After that we headed outside. BTW, the kids behaved really well at dinner, especially to have so many of them and have them all together at a few different tables more or less.

We were just hanging out talking, the kids were playing and I was snapping pictures! I love my little camera that fits in my pocket. Definately not as good of pictures, but atleast there are pictures!

The kids played duck, duck, goose all night long. I also heard versions of chocolate milk, chocolate milk, strawberry milk and there was one more that I can't remember now. I most impressed that Lily, well both Lily's knew how to do this. Dallas would have never known how at 3 and 4. Is Little 4? I know, I asked but now I can't remember. I don't think quite yet.

We headed back to Epcot with a bathroom stop along the way. At this point Heather called Teresa and passed her around. It was really nice to get to talk with her and hear how sweet she really is! Hi Teresa! Isn't there a darn smilie waving?

We all decided to stop and view Illuminations from the bridge and plopped down on the ground!

Which reminds me! I just figured out I never edited or cropped any photos! Hopefully some of them will look better after I do that!

Afterwards we all went more or less our different directions slowly. It was nice to be able to walk out with Jeanne and Tifani and get a few extra talking minutes in! By the time we were at the front Lily was out!

Don't worry, she was perfectly comfortable!

What a fun day we all had! Some had planned on DHS in the morning and we figured we would run into them there. But some were leaving in the morning. :sad1:

This is why I now write TRs in Word and then cut and paste them on here

LOVE the pic of Lin and Dallas sleeping. Totally missed that while I was gabbing with everyone!

BTW, for inquired minds who may be wondering by those pictures...I am not pregnant...just fat :rotfl: I'm definately looking pregnant in the ones when I'm chatting with Cindee and Morgan!

Oh please! You don't even look pregnant!

It was a super quick nap, too much going on around them.

I usually type it then copy and paste, I went to use a smilie and somehow it clicked all my words and then poofed them, but inserted the smilie. How nice!

Fun update! Thanks for all the photos of my kids! I was going to start begging to see if anyone had one of Seth and Gavin...in fact, I'll still beg, anyone else have any? Jayden loves to take care of little kids. She's great with her little siblings. Mike and Tom? Did they speak to each other or just stand there with folded arms? I feel like I missed a lot going on around me. Hmmm....I wonder why... I did see Dallas and Lin napping though. Lily has been obsessed with Duck Duck Goose for quite a while now. I don't know why :confused3 I love the lollipop pictures! If you go to a candy store, take T with you! :thumbsup2

Okay, I forgot to comment on this! Are you saying you bought the whole set? I think I know someone who may want to buy some more...:rolleyes1 I bought 2 and my sister gave me one. We got the monorail, figment, and yes, the creepy apple one. I was like "what is this bloody slime Mickey?" Seth said "I think it's the poison apple" and I doubted him. :scared: My sister wants the yeti one sooooooooooo bad! :rotfl:

Aisling saw Jessica's picture last night and said "Why didn't you get me one of those" My response...because you can't pick which one you get. You could have gotten the creepy poisoned apple". Her reponse. I don't care...they are cute. I spent $25 on a Cindy outfit for her AG doll and she would have been happy with the creepy apple one???

(Don't ask Jessica the total for buying the whole set ;) I will say it's more than Stacy and I charged to the room for 4 days!!!!)

It was my husband's fault. He is the one always saying just buy it! You can sell the rest and get our money back. Blah, blah, blah! He actually is horrible to go shopping with, in the sense that, I spend too much money with him.

Jeanne, how many, which ones do you want? Do you want the complete set or just some of them? I should have one complete extra set (which I was thinking to sell off as a set, but I can make an exception for a friend of course) and then I think 2 extras of 2 of them and an extra Kermit. I never opened any of them, Lin and Dallas did so I don't know what our 2 extras are. The boxes of course on some of them have been opened (because otherwise you don't know what it is) but I think the bags are still shut because you could look at the card inside. I think once they figured out our two extras they stopped opening. I am not 100% on that because I was so out of it and didn't care at the time. I haven't moved the box or even looked at it since we got home.

Dallas has his all over his room though, nicely decorated.

Kristine, what one does Aisling want? Or does she not care too much?

Oh no, you sell the whole set as a whole set, get the most money you can out of it! But if you end up with any extras in the end, let me know and I'll buy them off you unless they are the ones I already have.

Are you sure? I really don't care about it. I am not in the ebay mood like I used to be. Before I would have had those suckers up and wanted top notch $ for everything. Oh, how I have changed.

BTW, you know there is another set coming soon right? This was Parks Set #1. In the Art store at downtown disney they had a poster sitting out with the next set shown. I think it was called something different, like characters or something. I think there was Mike from Monsters. I meant to take a picture but really just wasn't thinking. I like the 1st though and don't need them all. I liked that it represented the different park things.

Day 4 DHS

We discussed the night before and most of us were headed for DHS monday. I woke up not feeling so great though. Lin was sick about 2-3 weeks before we left and had given it to Dallas. I stayed far far away from them at home and washed everything constantly but by the time we had spent the day in the car driving together their germs got me! Thank goodness it is just a head cold but wow, did it knock me out. In fact I still have it today and Dallas has recaught it along with Lin. We are just one house of sickos!

We woke up and I didn't feel like moving fast. Lin was perfectly content to sit and play on the computer so that is what he did for a while. Steph ended up texting me at some point. Her and the kids were at the MK and Heather hadn't felt well either so skipped the park day. Unfortunately I didn't buy park hoppers this trip. First time ever! I also knew that by the time we got up and moving it would be almost time for Steph to leave. It did motivate me enough to get moving though.

We finally got the park around noon.

Today we parked in the film parking lot!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0841.jpg

We were quite far out for DHS studios so decided to take the tram.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0843.jpg

Dallas loves riding that just as much as a ride anyways.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0844.jpg

We headed towards Toy Story Mania. I was pretty sure fastpasses would be gone, especially since it was a Fantasmic night. They were and the wait was 90 minutes. No way were we waiting! We had ridden it in California and that was good enough.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0845.jpg

I had had reservations for the 50's Prime Time Diner for 12 something so we changed those to a later time. We weren't ready to eat yet. Indiana Jones show was about to start to we headed over there. Dallas really enjoyed this last time.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0848.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0850.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0851.jpg

After the show ended we had about 10 minutes to get over the stunt show. So we booked it over that way. Of course we got down to the end of the street and the show was full. It hadn't started yet but was full. I have never seen this happen with this show. No big deal. We'll hit it later. It is a must do on Dallas' list.

We went back and the boys went on Star Tours. At some point we had gotten fastpasses. Probably before the Indy show. I just sat on a bench and people watched. I also watched part of the jedi academy training but it looked so chaotic and I got bored. I didn't think it was nearly as good as it is at Disneyland. Two parks, so alike yet so different in so many ways!

While I was sitting there I saw Jeanne's friend walk by with her daughter (sporting a MMBJ Princess Leia shirt) so stopped to say hello. The boys were over at the show. They walked back our way after the show and it is kind of interesting to see someone else wearing your work! Makes ya proud! Sorry, no pictures!

We then grabbed the stroller and headed for Prime Time.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0853.jpg

I wanted a cute picture of our shirts because these I think were my favorite this trip. I also loved our vacation people though so it is a toss up. Never got a great picture of us either.

Checked into Prime Time and sat for a few minutes.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0854.jpg

There was a kid sitting next to us but then his father came along and asked about our shirts. He asked if we bought them there at the parks. I get this alot. Lin of course said I made them. Lin knows how happy that makes me. The guy started asking if I had a machine or did it myself so we went into the whole I have the machine but did them myself instead. He said his brother owned an embroidery business. Probably why he noticed the shirts to begin with. He was very nice though and we enjoyed chatting.

We were seated pretty quickly and at a nice table.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0856.jpg

I thought I would take a few pictures but you'll quickly see how my family is when I want a nice picture. They just don't cooperate.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0859.jpg

Our waiter didn't do a whole lot as far as the restaurant playing along with us stuff but I am sure that I looked like I didn't want to play along. He was great with some other tables near by and did hang Lin's plate on the wall and told Dallas to get his elbows off the table once. The food was good although I thought the portions to be extremely small. I ate everything and left hungry. I had roast and Lin had meatloaf. Dallas is still banned from ordering his own meal!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0860.jpg

Lin decided to take a picture of Dallas and I since I am always taking the pictures. I was really upset at christmas time when there were like zero pictures of my christmas outfits that I spent hours making the night before we left!

We walked out and the parade or should I say Block Party Bash was about to start. We had 5 or so minutes and I had no interested in trying to actually walk somewhere at that point in time. I also had no interested in trying to get closer. I don't like people who walk up last minute!

We sat right by Play & Dine and enjoyed people watching first. All the people just don't seem to get say out of the walkway. Poor CM's.

Anyways, the Monsters Inc part stopped at the perfect spot for us to see.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0862.jpg

I sat up above and the boys down below.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0863.jpg

They aren't too big into parades. Shortly you'll see what usually happens.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0865.jpg

Yes, they are both really asleep in this picture. They'll sleep anywhere. As I type this Dallas fell asleep in the living room chair. He is sick though so i am not surprised.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0867.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0868.jpg

I am not sure what I thought of this parade. It was cute but I would prefer for it just to be a parade I think. We were the first stop and it lasted quite a while. I cannot imagine being further back along the parade route. It would take forever to get to you! They had Toy Story first, then Monsters and followed with A Bug's Life. I just love the Pixar parades and so usually love the ones at DHS. I guess since it isn't a real parade it just isn't as great.

After the parade Dallas was still out so we put him in his stroller and walked towards Rock N Rollercoaster. He REALLY wanted to go on it! So I told Lin to get some fastpasses in case he was tall enough. It was going to be super close.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0871.jpg

The fast passes were gone though so we used the restroom and people watched some more.

Lin took this picture as I was walking back.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0873.jpg

It was time to head towards the Lights, Motor, Action or whatever it is called. We love to sit in the top row!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0875.jpg

I always find it interesting to sit up here and look at the rest of the park. If you look you can see where some of the buildings aren't finished on the back side. So unlike disney for something like this to ever be seen.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0876.jpg

On our way out I saw this adorable Monsters Inc skirt. I was a little confused though because I hadn't seen one custom this entire trip and knew Jeanne made Lily a Monsters skirt, but it wasn't her. Well once I saw Seth I remembered that Lily had a cousin and it was her! Mike and Luke were right there so chatted with them for a minute or so. Mike had said Jeanne was off seeing characters and it made me just wish i was with her vs watching these shows that I just don't find that great. Then she happen to call Mike so i got to chat for a second. She was waiting for Beauty and the Beast. It has been years since I have seen it and really wish I was with her now at this point. I was feeling great though and we were probably heading out shortly.

I decided we would walk down by the rollercoaster just to see if Dallas was tall enough. Well the wait said 100 minutes. No way was I waiting and wouldn't you know the guy gave him the okay! Although I wanted to be guaranteed that we wouldn't get to the front and get turned down. This happened at Space Mountain once a few years back. We had 3 different people say he was okay to go and got to the front and they refused to let him go. I understand for safety's sake but why did the first 3 say okay and WHY did they let us wait in the line. They weren't very nice about it either and obviously it still irks me to this day!

The guy just kind of said well, he is tall enough. We decided we would just do it next time. Although looking back now there is no way the wait time was that long and it ticks me off that it said that. They weren't even in the queing area outside, they were only right along the building. Fantasmic was about to start and the people were pouring into the show. I really think disney does this on purpose and I don't like it. I don't like it so much that I really think it will be a LONG time before disney gets alot of our money again. Atleast WDW. I am pretty over it right now.

Dallas had said he wanted to see Fantasmic earlier in the day but then we were all tired and I just wanted to go the hotel. I am sure we gave him some sort of choice although I don't remember it but he said he would go back to the room happily!

I took a picture on the way out and we were off.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0877.jpg

We decided to go off property and eat tonight. You see, I am also growing tired of disney food. It is overpriced and not that great and I don't plan 6 months ahead of time where I want to eat! I don't even plan a trip that far ahead of time! We went out the back and saw Olive Garden. We all love it there so decided on it!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0881.jpg

Absolutely! No trip is complete without matching shirts! I have always done this whether it be coordinating or matching or what not. I like to have nice looking pictures! In fact to be honest at home we usually coordinate colors so we look nice!

We didn't even wear our AK set of shirts. My outfits were thrown off a bit by changing up our plans so much and not doing too many parks.

And I am not against Lin just wearing a matching polo shirt. He usually had more of those on as the whole tshirt thing bothers me on him for some reason!

Day 5

Wow! How can I be on day 5 already! 1 doesn't really count because it is mainly driving but wow!

Our original plan for this day was to hit AK. But we had decided we would take Dallas to see the penguins at Sea World this trip and I had to fit it in. I decided today to look up the info again as last night I was just too tired to look into it further. I called and I had to be at the info desk by 10. It was 9 at the time we didn't feel like rushing so I booked the penguin tour for the next day, wednesday.

I really didn't feel like going anywhere especially since tomorrow would be Sea World. I had booked a photo session at the Grand Floridian the day we left. I had thought about it last minute and decided it would be something nice to do. We never have our pictures taken as a family together. Ever! But I had booked for Wednesday at 10 am. I called and canceled that. I think his name was Tom that I talked to. Nicest guy in the world. I told him I would call back and rebook because I really wanted to do this. So after we sat there for a while I could tell that I was not going to be feeling much better and if I wanted pictures we better try and do it today. So I called back, Tom answered and he told me 1 pm was open! Great!

This was planned so last minute after I packed that I ended up just throwing black shirts in for us. Usually we would have some decent non disney clothing but I really had packed customs for everyday this trip. Lin was already dressed and Dallas too so they weren't happy about changing their clothes. I just left Lin's shorts alone although they would have looked much better with khaki. The khaki pair I had for Dallas looked way too big on so I said forget it and we went with not so great outfits!

Tom was great and spent a nice amount of time with us! I didn't put those pictures in photobucket so I'll have to add those later.

Now, our goal for today was to get Lin's haircut. For some reason he never gets his haircut before vacation like I ask and I am always having to worry about it while away. The MK barber was way too crowded the day we checked so we thought we would venture off site and look around. Well, while walking around the GF we walked past the barbershop. We joked with Tom about the price of haircut.

By the time we were done with pictures we decided to just check it out. At this point I was willing to pay a bit more then go looking. I was hoping it would be no more then $30. So Lin asked and it was $35. What the heck, what is $5 more. I cannot believe that we paid this much for a haircut but I will tell you it is the best haircut he has ever had! I just love it! Of course it helps when i am along and tell them how I want it cut.

Dallas colored while Lin got it cut!

Here is Lin paying.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0886.jpg

We were the only ones in there and they were extremely nice. I was so jealous because there is nothing that I love more then getting my hair cut! For some reason I find it completely relaxing. I was NOT going to pay to get mine cut too though! YIKES!

Afterward we went in Basin. I fell in love with this store in CA and they had some cute blue mickey soap. I was feeling a bit guilty after the expensive haircut though and so passed.

Dallas wanted to check out the ship in the lobby. He saw it while we were walking around taking pictures.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0889.jpg

Poor kid really doesn't remember any of our cruises (and he has been on 3 disney week long ones). We took them all before he turned 3 though so we didn't have to pay for him! I would love to take him again soon as I know he would love it now! He actually loved it then too!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0890.jpg

I was trying to get some cute pictures but never really got anything great.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0895.jpg

BTW, does it tick anyone off where you have to park when you go to the GF. We park ourselves and they make you park in the lot across the street where the employees park. I somewhat get this but really if I was going in for just a haircut or the tea party or even to eat, i am spending a ton of money. Can we not just park a bit closer! This bugs me about disney. It is like we aren't good enough therefore you may not enter!

We went out for lunch after this and Lin chose Sizzler. Perfectly fine with me. Cheap and a good salad sounded great! The steak was okay. I like first class steak but also happy with a cheap good steak. We ran to the outlets also but really only went in the disney store. I still wasn't feeling great and wasn't in the shopping mood. Lin and Dallas never are. We had planned on hitting downtown disney that evening but had also told Dallas we would take him miniature golfing. So we headed back to the room because Lin wanted a short nap first.

But the time we ended up going golfing it was quite late. I was trying to find out what the dinner special was that night. I really love the mom's special turkey but I know it is 2 specific nights only. I called the front desk and few other places and everyone was clueless. We did walk down before we left to golf and it was tonight. After golfing we figured we would head back and I could get that. And BTW, it would have been nice had someone been able to answer my question. I didn't find it that odd of a question.

Okay, finally ready to head out to golf. We had changed earlier in the day into our outfits. These were planned for DTD but didn't work out that way. I will say these ladies stopped us at the outlet mall and it was alot of fun to talk to them about it and when we went into the character warehouse they were just amazed. Obvoiusly no one wears customs shopping ever!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0897.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0900.jpg

These were all taken arriving back from shopping.

Dallas saw some girl trying to climb the potato head and he wanted to climb it too. It really irks me how they had to fence in everything at the hotels because the kids couldn't stay off of it. And now here my kid trying to climb!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0902.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0906.jpg

We were in the 70's building around the back overlooking the lake!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0907.jpg

It was so nice and quiet back there.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0910.jpg

We returned to Gloria (the penguin) hanging out in the window. The maid was out that morning when Dallas was laughing at Mickey hanging in another window. I thought it was quite sweet of her to put Gloria up there. We had the vinylmations in the window but all hadn't been opened yet and Lin put the cards in for some reason. Totally takes away from the cuteness.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0911.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0912.jpg

A little note about our window. I sometimes bring lights but they hardly get plugged in because we have to be in the room and sometimes the whatever it is called that you hang up. But I was being quite lazy this trip. Dallas really wanted bendaroos and it shows in the commercial how you can decorate windows with them. I kept telling him they weren't great that wikistix were better but he was insistant about benderoos. I thought how fun it would be surprise him with them for the window. Well they stink! They hardly stick at all. They only stayed up maybe the first day and that was after I pressed and pressed them. They also are alot harder to get to take the shape you want. We also had some wikistix with us and he enjoyed playing with those and they stick great!

Of course he saw some kid up in the zero and wanted to try too!

So we were heading out to golf! Dallas chose to go to the Fantasia golf course since he had never been before to that one. He has been to Blizzard Beach.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0915.jpg

By the time we arrived it was late and busy so we had about a 40 minute wait. I didn't really want to wait but really couldn't tell Dallas too bad now. I really didn't want to go golfing either but Dallas wanted me to come. I wanted to stay and rest.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0917.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0918.jpg

I didn't golf. I am pretty cheap and just as happy to walk along and take pictures.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0919.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0921.jpg

Finally, a cute picture!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0923.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0924.jpg

Dallas at one point hit his ball out of play and into the water. He doesn't usually do this but it was a go uphill one and Lin said hit it hard! He hit it hard!

Anyways, after lin got him a new ball there was quite a holdup on the holes so I asked the nice people behind us to take a picture!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0925.jpg

This hole was dark and fun! I wish I had the video on as it scared Dallas at one point when it made noise and flashed all dark. He had walked down into it without us and came running out.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0927.jpg

Once you finish playing they give you a golfball to keep.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0933.jpg

It was quite cute and we never got that at Blizzard Beach. Also the wait wasn't as long as they said and they have it set up nice so you get a ticket and return at a certain time vs just all standing and waiting at each hole.

We then headed back for my delicious turkey!

BUT WAIT! WHAT HAPPENS!

We get back and it is about 10:20. We go down and I got to order and the place closes at 10! Only that ONE food choice area! I was so upset! It was something I really was looking forward to. I settled for a meatball sandwich only because I wanted something warm and knew Lin would eat half of it. I really don't like their meatballs.

We then went back and headed to bed. Up tomorrow is Sea World and PENGUINS!

I think they are my favorite! Fantasia Mickey definately was harder and much more work but these were just too cute!

I never ended up putting our names on them because it was late by the time I finished them and it took me longer to put Dallas' name on his then to make the whole shirt! I also was afraid something crazy would happen and it would ruin the shirt! :scared1:

Remember I made all the shirts the week before we left but most of them the day or two before we left. I work best under pressure!

I am loving the updates. We wanted to do the miniature golf but we didn't want to pay for all 4 of us. How nice that you could walk a long and take pictures. I assumed we would have all had to pay. Now I know for next time. We can just let the kids play!

This is the 2nd time we have played at disney where I just walked along. We also had the buy one get one free coupon so only paid for one person. It really makes for some expensive golfing paying for 4 people!

Day 6 Sea World

Sea World holds a special place in my heart! I grew up in Ohio and we lived at most 30 minutes from a Sea World. We went often and always enjoyed it there. One year we even got passes (actually good for 2 years) at any Sea World, Busch Gardens (I think) and Boardwalk and Baseball. Oh, how we loved Boardwalk and Baseball! Anyone remember that? If I am not mistaking it was where Circus World was originally! If I felt better I would walk the 50 feet to my bedroom and grab a few pictures and scan them. I know right where they are.

Okay, anyways, I just love Sea World! A big thanks to Cindee for letting me know about the backstage program where we would actually pet the penguins!

And while I am rambling. I am good at that as you can see! I'll ramble about a big pet peeve of mine! I do not like it when people wear disney clothes to SW or US or vice versa. It just irks me. I mean it isn't that big of deal but it just doesn't go together! We are about to take part in my biggest pet peeve! I had figured we would just wear our black shirts today but it was supposed to be so hot and after being so hot the day before having our picture taken I just didn't want to put them back on.

We started off the morning early. We were up and ready to leave by 8:30 (that is early for us on vacation).

Outside our door were ducks waiting to greet us! One thing I like best about pop is we always see plenty of ducks and bunnies!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0934-1.jpg

I happen to have a box of cheerios in my hand so we just gave them a few.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0936-1.jpg

We pulled into Sea World right around opening time and parked right up front. It was so nice! Our first stop was information to check in for our penguin backstage tour. We got our tickets and I took a few pictures!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0938.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0940.jpg

It was really nice because the park was empty at this time. In fact it was like we were the only ones on the one whole side of the park! We headed to the penguins first and found our meeting spot before viewing them.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0941.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0947.jpg

They weren't too active yet this morning. Last time they were zipping in and out of the water and it was really fun to watch. This time they were just standing around. Very few in the water. The guy was cleaning the windows and a few ladies were shoveling the snow, moving it around inside.

We walked out and what did we see?

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0948.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0949.jpg

Yes, that is right! Flamingos coming right for us! When I was little this was probably one of my favorite animals (the penguin being the other). They were just walking around with 2 trainers. Not sure where they were going but it was odd. They were just like kids walking down a hallway following each other.

I decided we would hit the first Sea Lion show of the day so we headed over that way.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0950.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0951.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0955.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0958.jpg

It was pretty cute. I can't remember what it was last time we saw it as it has been a few years but it seemed vaguely familiar. I remember years ago they did a Wizard of Oz one and it was so cute!

After the Sea Lions we walked back quickly by the viewing area.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0960.jpg

And then headed to the sharks. Dallas is interesting because he has learned what fear is and he loves sharks and dinosaurs yet is kind of afraid of both of them now. He was really excited to go in and see them but not fond of them swimming over our heads.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0962.jpg

Up next was the alligators. He was anxious to find them. By this time I felt like I had walked back and forth across this park 10x. We walked by the dolphin petting area.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0963.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0964.jpg

And found the alligators. They weren't that impressive honestly and quite hard to see because of the way it was laid out.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0965.jpg

They are right next to the manatees and it was feeding time. They were eating lettuce.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0966.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0971.jpg

By this time it was almost noon and time to go on our penguin tour. It was still kind of quiet in the park but by the time we came out of the tour there suddenly were people everywhere!

So we met our guide at the spot and he started promptly! There were 12 of us all together! 5 in one family (with 2 screaming toddlers who were annoying) and then a couple and another child and mother besides us. Our guide took us back into the exhibit and talked about the penguins for a bit.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0973.jpg

Then we went around the back area and he showed us through some windows what was inside. Offices and such. Kind of interesting because then he took us inside. He could have just talked about them from the inside. The two toddlers fine as long as the parents were holding them but for some reason they kept trying to put them back in the stroller and they would start screaming all over again. Thank goodness it was time they had to park the stroller! We went inside and they split us into two groups. We got the girl and mom. Yeah! No screaming toddlers. They took us into pet the penguin first. This was a king penguin and he was so cute.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0976.jpg

I totally forget his name though and wish I remembered!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0977.jpg

I have probably never touched more then 2 animals in my life (if that many) but I was happy to touch him. He just stood and posed.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0978.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0979-1.jpg

We all didn't really know how long we would be in there or much so we all petted quickly then the kids did it again. I wish I had taken more time and had Dallas look at the camera and gotten a good picture. But I just wasn't sure! I did take the other ladies picture for her since the kid didn't do such a great job at it! Why am I telling you this! Because next time you are at disney offer take someones picture for them. It make their day! Especially if it is me!

We were right inside the exhibit but it is gated off so the other penguins can't come out of course. These were all taken inside.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0980.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0981.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0982.jpg

Once we finished up in there the penguin tried to follow us out. The lady said that he thought he was just like a human and always tried to get out!

It was alot of fun. We then switched with the other family and went to see the puffin.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0985.jpg

This one we could not pet. The guy said he was too delicate to pet. He had left a gift on the floor and the kids thought it was funny. He was just walking around loose in an office.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0986.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0987.jpg

Dallas really enjoyed listening to him talk. He told us how he had taken him to NY the week before and they just put them on the airplane with them in a carrier. They do buy a seat for them usually and hook them in. I guess Sea World does alot of promotions where they take penguins on tour. There were a couple others they showed us too that they take but for some reason I didn't take a picture. A more regular penguin. I have NEVER seen a penguin unless at a zoo, aquarium or Sea World!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0989.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0991.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0992.jpg

This last guy was our guide. The other guy holding the penguin was a trainer or pet care person or whatever you would call him. He worked with the actual penguins where the guide did not.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_0993.jpg

One thing that they said and I found interesting was how sometimes the parents won't be doing a good job taking care of the baby so they take him out and take care of them. Well at night they actually take the baby chick home with them. How cool would that be! And of course it didn't help that they told us that since Dallas is always asking for penguin. I told him they just can't live in a house but stories like this aren't good for a 6 year old to hear!

I've only been to San Diego...I've been there twice and love it. I love Marine life. If they could incorporate swimming with dolphins into Disney...I'd be in heaven (I don't want to go in the tank at Epcot though). The last time we swam with dolphins- we got to do it in the open ocean in Curacao. It was amazing. We designed Aisling's whole nursery around two pictures of Randy and I with dolphins.

Thanks for the update. Glad you share my clothing pet peeves. I also get annoyed when people go to Disney in non-Disney themed clothing. Seriously, the Disney Store has princess t's for $3...go get some before your trip.

I love the Fantasia shirts and the people shirts! They are amazing! I wish you had come with the girls at DHS! I can't believe everyone ran into you but me! :sad1: I didn't even know there was miniature golf at Disneyworld! Wasn't the weather gorgeous that day? DHS was a bit crowded. Sea World looks fun! We've only been to the one in San Diego. Mike saw that picture of Lin and Dallas sleeping and he is jealous that they can nap like that.

After the tour we were hungry so ate at Sea Fire Grill! It was delicious and not that bad price wise for what you get. It was so nice to not eat disney food.

Then onto the big tower thing that turns. Don't you love my professional names for all these things! This thing took forever it seemed while standing in line. Of course once on it time flew.

It was really nice to see everything from so high up. It had been closed earlier in the day due to the winds so glad we got a chance to go up.

Dallas had been asking to go on the water ride. So over that way we went.

There was no wait and it was alot of fun. It is the first time I have ever been on it. Of couse the people squirting water at the end ruin the ride. It wasn't a hot day by any means and by then it was starting to cool off and was later. Atleast it wasn't nearly as bad as the one at US IOA. That thing soaks you at the end!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1000.jpg

Lin and Dallas went again and I took pictures.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1001.jpg

They are the last ones in this boat.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1002.jpg

Dallas has wanted to buy a penguin all day so we went back by for him to pick out what he wanted. Thank goodness he is a pretty good kid and doesn't ask for much and I knew he would love the penguin. It also was fairly cheap.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1004.jpg

We went back in to look at the penguins again.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1006.jpg

Seen enough penguins yet?

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1007.jpg

We were headed at this point over to the kids area of the park. We went via the back past the clydesdales. Dallas could have cared less about petting one so we just walked through. Lin decided he would have a beer. I can't really complain. He has maybe 3 a year! I was disappointed to find out they were no longer free but for $2 it made him happy and will keep him satisfied for the next 9 months! Dallas and I shared a pudding and he wanted picture taken by the waterfall.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1008.jpg

The we continued over to the kiddie area and hit the rollercoaster first.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1009.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1012.jpg

Then of course Dallas wanted to go in the HUGE climbing thing so silly me agreed to go! I was darn tired and worn out and we weren't in the thing longer then 10 minutes. I wish somehow the area was fenced in so there was only one entrance and one exit, not into the play structure but into the area. There is no way that he can just go alone. Sorry no pictures. Lin took that time to nap at a table.

There were quite a few more rides in there and it seemed really nice. Dallas didn't want to ride them until it was time to leave. He chose climbing instead. I really wanted to see the polar bears since last trip we skipped them. Of course it was years ago, but still.

We zipped over because the last Shamu show was at 5:30. There were only 2 all day and it was 5 as it was.

We watched the movie, the non cool one because the other line was too long and then zipped through the displays. Literally just stopped long enough to find the animals. I wasn't impressed with the polar bears but hard when I am comparing it to the San Diego Zoo (although I was not impressed overall with that). It just seemed so dark.

We thought the Shamu show would be crowded but we were totally wrong! It was about 1/2 full. We went to the top again, our favorite spot!

Now, I have decided that not feeling so great must have made me off because I was less then impressed with this show too! Don't get me wrong, I loved our day at Sea World and it was my favorite day but the show was just not that great. Last time they didn't have a show because they had just had a baby which seems to be the story of my life.

Anyways, we had a great day and LOVED it!

I can't wait to go to the one in San Diego. I have this fascination with Sesame Street characters and really wanted to go in May after they added a big SS area. We could have but it would have made for too many park days and I like non park days. Next time I really want to go.

Uh, you know that at Sea World you can swim with the dolphins right? It is called Discovery Cove (so not really at SW, they own it and it is across the street) and quite pricey but I hear well worth it. I don't have much desire to do that for some reason. On our cruises we have never done it. I am just not a touch an animal person. I don't like many animals but I love sea animals. I always wanted to study marine biology for some reason. I also fell in love with the movie Free Willy!

Thanks for the compliments! I could hang them up here in the house and look at them. I know that is odd but they are my favorites.

I know, I literally saw everyone but you! The weather was gorgeous!

Yes, 3 miniature golf course and a somewhat 4th. 2 at Blizzard Beach, one winter and one summer and then 2 by the swan and dolphin. The one is like a mini golf course the guy told us but played with a putter still. They said it takes about an hour and a half to complete. More like real greens. If you looked in your coupon book that I assume you got it had a bogo coupon.

We wasted our free 5x7 picture because we never went back into a park after monday. I was super sad.

It kind of annoys me that Dallas and Lin will sleep anywhere. I am exhausted and they'll stop and refresh and be ready to go when I didn't get rest!

Okay! I thought you had to know about it! A car for a day wouldn't be much. I don't know if I could just stay on disney property for a week without going out of it. It is nice sometimes, but I like to do other things too.

Jedi mickey. Boring! I did all but his robe and hand. I'll go finish him up in a minute.

Hi Jess! i had a lot of catching up to do!! First I loved that you all played golf! I know we won't be able to fit it in. How cool that they give you a golfball at the end!

Loved hearing about the photoshoot and haircut! Are you going to post those pics? Lin looks so handsome! Love the matching shirts you wore shopping...they were adorable!

Great day at Sea World....nice that it wasnt super crowded. Those penguins were so cute. How nice that you got to pet them! I love the Shamu show...I vaguely remember it from Dec 1998. it was kind of rainy when we watched it. Very impressed that you rode the log flume ride! What a long day though...you must have been dragging yourselves back to the hotel. Dallas looks so cute sleeping with all of this penguins. He really is a super sweet special little guy! I really liked meeting all of you!

Looking forward to more!

Day 7 (I think)

I can't remember much of what we did this day. It must have not been alot. I dressed Dallas in his Chip shirt! This will be the first time in a LONG time that we did not hit the campfire.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1033.jpg

I guess in the morning we sat around and did nothing. Lin took Dallas swimming in the afternoon while I rested. And then we went to Downtown Disney that evening. I know I wanted to go in the morning when it is far less crowded but just never felt up to it. We almost didn't go at all.

Our first stop was the lego store. I decided go ahead and get that over with so hopefully Dallas would be a good shopper after that. Lin took a few pictures because Dallas loves legos and loves to look at pictures!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1034.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1037.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1039.jpg

Anyone that knows me knows we need NO more legos! But I figured I would let him pick out something small. He first wanted a bionicle (which we literally have more then 50 of). I figured whatever since I am constantly saying no to him at the store. But then the power miners with rock monsters were right next to them and he decided to get them. He tried for big sets of course and I was like no way! He picked out a star wars set that was only $300! Nope, not gonna happen! So he got 3 small Power Miners and was happy.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1040.jpg

Next we went towards Goofy's Candy Co. I had told him earlier in the week he could make something. I don't think he thought it was as cool as I was trying to make it out to be.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1041.jpg

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1043.jpg

We filled out the little form as to what he would make.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1050.jpg

He chose an oreo cookie with reeces pieces and chocolate. It was supposed to also have chocolate drizzled across the top but the lady never did it. She looked less then thrilled honestly and she wasn't even busy!

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/106_1056.jpg

He ate about 3 bites. I should have just let him get the tube filled with sugar or whatever like he had seen other places. Oh well!

We left after this since I didn't feel like looking at anything else. We actually walked in TRex and Dallas was not fond of it and also I went in the art of disney while they sat and people watched. Short trip to Downtown Disney this trip.

Day 8 - the last day before we leave

What a most exciting day this was! So exciting I never even took the camera out! Lin wanted to find he tigerdirect outlet store. He loves computers and this was a big deal for him. I said fine. I guess there are two, one in Altemonte Springs and one by the Florida Mall. The Florida Mall was closer so he chose that one. There was horrible traffic in the middle of the afternoon and I just remember being car sick most of the ride.

Once we got there it was just an old CompUSA with not so great prices. He was so disappointed and I was annoyed. We have gotten better deals at walmart!

He looked around for a short time and then we left. I really wanted subway. I hadn't eaten much the past 2-3 days. BTW, after Sea World we went to the food court so I could get my turkey. It was so good and one of the few things that I even thought tasted good the last half of the vacation. We hit subway on the way back. I sent Lin and Dallas in telling them I want a turkey sub on white with lettuce and provolone cheese. A footlong. Easy enough right! I told him to get Dallas the SAME thing but no lettuce!

They come out and the sandwiches were warm. I thought at first just his and Dallas cuz why would he have mine toasted. I ask and he says yep, got them all toasted. YUCK is all I can say! I was so looking forward to this and so upset over it! I know it was a little thing but I was so hungry!

We went back to the room and ate. It was not good! Oh and he got Dallas a 6 inch. I know, but you see the kid will eat the whole thing and I would eat the leftovers later! For $1 more get another half of a sandwich. Oh well!

BTW, Dallas had on his Roger Rabbit shirt and I really wanted a picture of him by the big RR. But we never made it! I napped and Lin took Dallas to play golf. This time at the pirate place out the back entrance. Dallas' request. They ate McD's before coming back. I think I just never ate. I did pack everything up in suitcases while they were out.

We went to bed fairly early. Fun and exciting day wasn't it! We went that morning and changed our 7 day tickets to non expiring. We had only used 3 days and I hated wasting the rest or paying that much for 3 days. I know it isn't a big difference but you see we had 4 days of tickets left. I thought we would go into a park many more days but being sick I just wasn't interested. It was a deal in my eyes though, $110 more and we get 4 more days.

Day 9 - Saturday

We woke up and Lin took Dallas down for breakfast. He wanted some Mickey waffles and bacon. I stayed in the room sleeping. I then packed the car. Lin just can't get it all in like I do. Then we left! I was so ready to be home.

I slept the first 5 hours in the car! Yep, you read that right! 5 HOURS! Dallas slept for 2-3. We used to be able to get him to sleep the whole 7 1/2 home. IF he was sleeping we didn't stop to eat or gas up! You can just make it on one tank if you start super full as in Lin overstuffs the gas!

I was glad to be home but sad the week was over kind of. I wish it had been a better vacation but I am so glad I got to enjoy the beginning and the disboutiquers meet part of it! I hope we can do it because I just loved everyone and Dallas loved playing with the kids.

Thanks for coming along!

Oh I almost forgot. I'll upload a few of the photoshoot pictures! It was alot of fun. Lin looks so much better with hair cut.

Oddly enough we hardly ever play golf around here. In fact we have only gone once but Dallas just loves it! We try and do it on vacation but it is hard to fit everything in. I like to relax on vacation too!

Petting the penguins was the best. He is my little penguin boy! I wish I had a penguin shirt made for the day but it was too last minute.

We LOVED meeting you and hope you'll do it again! And Alice too but she has to join in the fun this time!

Here are some from the photoshoot!

I learned a few things! Never do all black shirts. Lin's looks brown in half of them. Dallas' shows grease stains. He had just put it on but I just cannot get them out ever and all our shorts look horrible! It really was last minute and I didn't feel the greatest but still wanted it done.

It was sad that the week before was so cold. So many of the flowers had been hurt or ruined because of the frost.

I never wear sunglasses or squint but I just couldn't keep my eyes open this day. I don't even ask for Lin or Dallas to take them off anymore.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s20/jessica52877/dismeet/DisneyPhotoImage54.jpg

It was fun but I wish we took better pictures. It was my fault with the clothes and what not though.

The guy was perfect. We were unsure whether you should tip or not for this. Suggestions? Do you tip a photographer?

Next time I would prefer the Beach Club but it was so last minute and this was the phone # I found first.

And while we are on the subject of pin trading, Heather, have Tessa hold onto the Jasmine one Jayden traded her. Mike looked it up in his book and said it was valuable. Not sure I actually believe him, and by valuable he means worth slightly more than we paid for it, but she did get it in Disneyland several years ago, so maybe it is rare by now.
She loves that one, so we definitely still have it!

Especially that really large kid on the left in a blue shirt...:confused3 :rolleyes1

I love all of your Dismeet pictures! I think you caught Sawyer right before T gave him some pretzel goldfish crackers. He was starting to lose it and she saved the day!

I felt so bad that I didn't get to meet Steph on Monday morning. I was feeling pretty sick that night after the Dismeet. I was starting to think that one of you poisoned me! :rotfl:

I love Lin and Dallas' matching Sorcerer's apprentice shirts! Oh, there's yours! I love it, too!

I'm so glad you thought the portions were too small at Prime Time Cafe! I got the meatloaf and left hungry.

Oh my gosh, Lin and Dallas sleeping on the curb!! :rotfl: :lmao:

I really, really, really don't like the block party "parade".

I'm with you on not planning 6 months ahead of time where you want to eat!

Wow! Lin really does look great with his new haircut! It makes him look younger! Very handsome!

I'd say the most comments I've ever got on our customs were at Downtown Disney. You're right, there aren't many costumes down there!

Gloria looks adorable in the window! But, Dallas looks even cuter!

I just love those matching vacation people shirts! I also like how you don't match the color of the shirts, but the designs all go together.

Oh my gosh, we have "kids in the zero" pictures just like yours. Too funny!

The mini golf looks like fun!

I sort of remember Boardwalk and Baseball! I know we went there.

Where did you grow up in Ohio. Henry grew up in Fremont, which is near Sandusky. His grandma used to take him to Sea World every year.

I'm with Dallas on the sharks. He's a smart boy, it's just not natural to have sharks swimming over your head!

What do you mean you've probably only touched 2 animals in your life? Do you mean total, or 2 animal species? Are you saying you've never pet a dog??

It's awesome that you got to pet a penguin!!

I didn't realize puffins were so small!

Uh-oh! Now you're going to have to get Dallas a penguin! :rotfl:

I LOVE that picture of Dallas and his penguins. He's such a great kid!

I'm loving Dallas' super-cool poses at the lego store!

I let Tessa get a tube full of sugar after she didn't seem interested in getting the special made candy. She loved her colored sugar tube!

I love your pictures!

Gotta find the time!

The guy was really nice too and told me when my hair was flipping all over the place. He also took several of each shot. I couldn't really tell in photobucket which ones I was grabbing so I do have one of us by the tree without my hair sticking straight up! He said he had 2 daughters and knew they would want to know if their hair did that!

Does he have this book?

It is really cute and helps to make the penguin don't make good pets point.

My youngest, the tomboy, has a soft spot for penguins too. She got one at the aquarium last year and was playing with it in the car one day and says to me "Mommy, you know that place where penguins keep their eggs?" I said "a nest?" and she say "Mommy, (big sigh......) penguins don't have nests!". I felt so stupid. I had to look up on the internet about brood pouches when I got home. Who knew? I guess my 5 year old.:rotfl: She just didn't know what they were called. I guess her stuffed penguin has a one. I bought her a puffin in Norway (Epcot) last May. She would love Sea World!

We don't have that book. I'll have to look for it or order it next time I order from amazon. I am sure I could find $10 to spend to get free shipping!

Dallas asked for the Puffin from Norway and I probably would have gotten it for him but it was after all of us at the meet rode the ride and I didn't want to hold anyone up. I figured we would go back at some point but we never did.

The only thing I ended up buying besides the penguin from Sea World was a toy gun (ICK) from the outlet for $4. He has asked for it for over 2 years now and I always told him he had to be 6. What was I thinking! I should have said 12!

That was a great trip report. Wow, you did so much stuff and I must say that everyone looks tired in some of the photos, but a good tired. Sorry about the food not being so good and you not getting enough at Prime Time. I love the pictures of the flamigos coming around at sea world.

Do they charge for the photoshoot now? We had ours done years ago at the GF and it was free. We also had ours at AK last year and they do such a good job.

Thank you for sharing your trip with us.

Yes, they do charge now. I had read about it when it was free a while back but we never actually did it. It was $25 if you buy photopass or $75 if you don't.

I am loving your trip reports, and love that you have matching shirts for everyone. It's amazing that Lin and Dallas can sleep just about anywhere...my dh can't fall asleep unless he is in a bed!

Was the photoshoot at Polynesian, or at Grand Floridian? We are thinking about doing one when we are there in August...

Can't wait to read more!

I cannot fall asleep anywhere but bed either! I don't know how they do it! :confused3

The photoshoot was at the Grand Floridian. The Poly has a tree with a heart on it that I see in photoshoot pictures. I really wish the Grand did too. I enjoyed doing it at the Grand but will do some place different next time just because. Dallas was telling me this morning that he had fun having his picture taken. He enjoyed going all around the place. I guess he thought (and DH did too) that we were just going to go into a room or something. Makes sense I guess.

I'll find the phone # for you. I didn't really know who to call but found a # on the dis (which was for the GF). Maybe they can hook you up with the other #'s. They now do it at the Poly, Grand, Beach and Wilderness Lodge. Maybe there was another. I think the Beach sounds like the funnest but if you do the Poly or the Grand you can get the Castle in the background.

I originally called that friday we left and booked for wednesday but called tuesday to cancel and they had some openings that afternoon so rebooked for then. So not much notice at all. I think you can book 30 days out.

I found this page with some information on disney photo sessions on http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/digital-photos.htm

Private Sessions

Additionally, you can schedule a 30 minute one-on-one session with a PhotoPass Photographer at the Beach Club, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa Animal Kingdom Lodge, or the Polynesian Resort.

The sessions can be booked up to 30 days prior to arrival. The number to call is: 407-934-4004.

Hopefully this is the right info...I plan to schedule one for our trip either at the Grand Floridian or Polynesian.

Jessica, I just read everything and really enjoyed it quite a bit! I so want to order some things from you again. We loved my birthday tees!!!

I am envious of all of you for getting to meet up like that. I really want to be in on the next one!

Thanks for taking the time to share about your vacation!

I think you may win the award for fastest written TR! Sorry to hear you did not feel well most of the trip. I am enjoying reading all of the Boutiquers TR's of the meet but with so many I am having a hard time keeping up! Loved the customs of course! Sea World sounds like fun but we never leave Disney property when on a Disney trip so we may have to do a Sea World/US/IOA trip some time (though I would probably have to get a little Disney fix in).
