Celebrating birthday at AKL

I will be arriving with my DD in 3 days to celebrate my birthday at WDW. We will be staying at AKL. Has anyone stayed here for their birthday? I was wondering if they provide extra magic for us "big kids" too!!!:D :D

We stayed at AKL for my Husbands birthday in December... I called the Lodge about a week before we arrived & they had a small cake with writing, along with a decorated tray & certificate... they do not have balloons at AKL due to the animals however... This was complimentary by the way....
