I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but if not please feel free to move it. I am interested in knowing other's opinions on offsite hotels near Universal. I am interested in three hotels- Comfort Inn Universal Studios Area, Quality Inn Plaza and Quality Inn International Drive. If anyone has any experiences at these hotels please tell me about them.

Thanks

Kim

Anyone care to weigh in on these hotels or have any suggestions about different ones that are reasonable around the Universal area?

Thanks
Kim

We used to stay there all the time since its cheap ( we paid between $39-$49 per night) and all we needed was a shower and a bed since we lived at the parks. But that all changed about a year ago when we started to stay onsite. One of the problems with the Quality inn was my wife started to get bit up at the hotel. She would wake up in the am with little bumps on her body. I was fine along with my son. That happened 2 visits. The rooms are ok besides that, but what you pay for. Lets put it this way, my wife will never stay offsite again, just to spoiled.:thumbsup2

Never stayed at any of those but have stayed at the Doubletree at the entrance to Universal and it was a nice hotel and plenty of good places to eat within walking distance and places like AAA has them for a good price as well as hotels.com.

I have stay Fairfield by Marriott on Canada Avenue and right really close to US. They have a Orlando Magic card rate of 80.00 dollars a night and comes with a free breakfast and clean.
