I am a first time "poster" and have booked my first trip to FWC :woohoo: . Have been rv traveling now for over two years and can't wait to make the trip to Florida.
Here's the question - I am hoping to surprise my hubby  with the Richard Petty NASCAR experience at WDW - is there transportation available from FWC to the driving area? We are not bringing our Jeep this trip since we will be on Disney property so transportation is a must .... I have been reading through the various threads on this page and see that you all are a very helpful group.....

That is a superb question... I'd like to piggyback a similar question: how can you use Disney transportation to get to the two miniature golf courses?

I know they have a pickup by the TTA( Ticket-Transportaion center) its by the Kennel there. We used to see them all the time while walking our dog. I think you can get a bus from the outpost to there

OP- I would call 407-WDWPLAY and make them answer your question. I can't think of an answer that wouldn't involve several bus changes.

Great answer Becky.....Ive been on this board (waaay too much) for well over a year and havent heard mention of these 2 questions or THAT answer..ever!!!! You all three deserve siggy piggies for this thread!!! It seems like the TTA has been forgotten, at least by this board...but as far as I know..THATS still GRAND CENTRAL for all transportation..if you cant get there from the TTA....ya probably dont need to go!!!! I had been wondering how to get to the rebuilt(or soon to be rebuilt?) treehouse resort(shame, I dont even remember the name...but some of you may know it...the raised, round apartment style rooms right on a river somewhere on Disney property, Treehouse Villas is coming to mind, but Im not sure thats correct)...any way, now that the TTA has been mentioned, Im sure we could go by way of the TTA.
Wow...its been a while since we've had a NEW question thrown at us, huh??

Heard those villas are going for 54 points a night on DVC! 54 points I say! Plus, if you want the villas, they are a separate option on the Saratoga DVC package. I am going to stay there (because my family just never did get there before they closed), but major saving probably is in order. I hear they sleep 9!

The treehouse villas ARE cool! :goodvibes Ten years ago I use to work for Disney CRO and as part of our training we had to tour all the resorts (18 back then). Now a lot of forgeting can happen in ten years but I'll do my best. I seem to remember they slept 6 so if they sleep 9 now they have done some upgrading. They were two stories, master bedroom down stairs, rest of the living areas upstairs, full kitchen, and winding stair case. They were considered part of the downtown Disney area and I think part of the Disney Institue grounds at the time. Anyway, I hope that helps a little with what they are like and maybe a better idea of a transportation route.

Calling the Front Desk and telling them you have a special surprise for someone has gotten us a ride in one of The Forts shuttle vans, call to double check this was a few years ago.

To get to WL/SL mini golf take the bus to Blizzard Beach and walk next door, remember to take note of the hours of the water park so you're not too late to get a ride home.
To Fantasia mini golf, you need to get to a park or DTD and take a bus to the Swan or Dolphin and walk across the street.

It is roundabout to get there on Disney Transport, but possible. If you take the early ride, a taxi would be your best bet.
If you do the afternoon ride, then you can boat to Magic Kingdom, then monorail or ferry to TTC. There is a van that departs from the Kennel/Lost & Found.
