I've registered with QR to try and earn a bit extra for our next Disney trip, and it's just fabulous! :goodvibes
I noticed there was both a Disney gift card and Disney Dollars available to redeem. Is there any real difference in which one I should eventually redeem? (other than Disney Dollars can be a collectble item) Can they both be used in the parks AND on the Cruise line? Is there one that has more advantages over the other?
Thanks!! :)

I always redeem for gift cards because I just find them easier to carry and use. If you redeem for disney dollars there is a slight shipping fee that you are charged.
Both can be redeemd at WDW and DCL.

We always redeem for the gift cards. When we check in, I just give them to the front desk & they apply them to our account. This way we can just charge back to the room & don't have to worry what the balance is left on the card- or even carry it with us.

How long it takes totally depends on how you active you are on the site..
If you shop thru QR link - how many surveys you qualify - how many offers you sign up for.
I did a LOT of my Christmas shopping thru QR links and spent a lot of time in Oct, Nov, Dec trying every possible survey, and was able to cash out for $200 Disney cards, and $25 Disney Dollars.
Since I'm no longer actively shopping like crazy, my points since Jan 1 are now only $24.78 as of this morning. I personally like Disney Dollars - they're just fun! But, every time you cash out for them it's an additional .50, so I choose the cards most often and let them accumulate to $100 first.
