Okay walking into the wrong bathroom....been there done it. At least it was DJay you walked in on....not some stranger. I had an experience recently at the airport. I WAS in the right bathroom and walked out of the stall and there was a guy standing there washing his hands. He looks up...we make eye contact and he looks away and continues washing his hands. I did a quick look around to make sure I wasn't in the wrong bathroom...nope it was him. As I stood there with 20 million thought running through my mind....IS it really a woman...a VERY Manly woman?? Did they change the restrooms to Unisex? What is this guy doing here? Why isn't he acting startled?? It was a strange experience...I quickly walked out and found my DH. I was telling him about it and the guy finally walked out. It was weird!! We later saw him talking to some police in the airport so I then wondered if he was doing something *ahem* not above board.

I love the chef story and I'm so glad that the chef did come out and talk. Good dad you got there! We still haven't seen Epcot at night....so I'm hoping this trip we'll get to experience it.

Your dinner at Tutto Italia looks yummy! I'm getting a lot of dining ideas for our August trip. Convincing my family to try Italian outside of NYC will be a HUGE project.

After 4 days of early mornings and late nights, it was great to sleep in a little on Sunday. I got up sometime around 8, which for me is sleeping in.

D.Jay and I headed down to do some laundry while the kids went to the pool. I swear it took 2 hours just to dry the clothes, I think "dryer" is a little stretch, it should be called a lukewarmer.

Once we had things going we went to the food court for some benigets...what could go wrong with deep fried dough and powdered sugar? Anything tastes better fried in a foot of fat.

Around 1 he headed for the boat to dtd....this is one of the things I love out POFQ is the boat to DTD.

Part of the genius of disney is getting you to part with your money...happily. And DTD is the best place to do it!
We encouraged MIL to go off on her own while we took the kids.

Hunter and Ethan both ended up making their own shirts.

I love going into the Art of Disney and dreaming of all the things I could buy....

This would look great in my living room....too bad I'm to cheap to buy it.

D.Jay and the kids headed for World of Disney while I picked out some christmas ornaments.

Our last stop was Goofy's Candy shop....this took about 5 hours for everyone to decide what they wanted....eventually they did

I realized it was getting close to our dinner reservation so I had to make the kids stop eating their treats from Goofy's.....that wasn't easy. I nearly lost my finger to Hunter's jaws.

We had an adr for 4:30 at Kona.

We headed to the bus stop for the Poly from DTD..I always hate taking a bus from here. It always seems to take 3 times as long as from anywhere else. When we got to the busstop it was packed....great. Well, little did I know that we were going to have some entertainment.

There were 2 men sitting on one of the benches, I think they were father and son. the Dad looked to be in his 60's and the son in his 30's. They both looked like it had been a long time since they showered or changed clothes. The type of person you don't want to stand down wind from.

They were quite loud and obnoxious...I think they'd had one drink too many. But I couldn't believe my eyes when a group of 5 women walked up. They looked like a group of innocent ladies enjoying their time together. They all had cute matching shirts. And they were all very well endowed.....by a plastic surgeon. :rolleyes1

The 2 men couldn't get off the bench quick enough to offer them their seats. They then spent the next 15 minutes oogling them and practically foaming at the mouth.

The women just kinda laughed an tried to ignore them. Once the bus came we were graced by them on our bus, where they continued to leer and make disgusting comments. It was really quite sad.

I was so glad when we finally got off the bus and away from them. They were just loud and disgusting....yuck.

We walked into the Poly and started to look around for awhile. I had wandered off on my own and then came back and saw Evan sprawled out on a bench. Just as I was about to go poke him, I spotted Evan walking toward me from another direction.
I swear these 2 boys looked exactly alike! If I didn't know better I'd think they were seperated at birth. I'm just glad I noticed it wasn't Evan before I tickled or pinched the unsuspecting boy on the bench.
Now that, would have been embarassing!

A few minutes later I hear someone say my name.....since my name isn't very common, if I hear it, it's normally for me. I turned around and there was Cherie, blueyedgirl, and her family! We had a meet planned for later in the evening at MK but I knew we both had adr's at Kona around the same time.

We chatted for a minute and then headed for the restraunt.

We all had a great meal here and Hunter got to meet the Chef again! He was as shocked as the first time!

1.....Is it worth paying $300 extra for a savana view room at AK?

2....should I go for the cheapest offer, stay at POP and save $900?

3.....or Caribbean beach or French quarter for $200 more than pop?

Half of me says go for the cheapest...this is a bonus trip. But the other part wants to stay at AKL and with the buy 4 get 3 deal it's actually affordable for us.

I just booked our vacation!! I'm so excited!

We decided to go with Caribbean Beach Resort. My 1st choice was AKL but this decision made more sense money wise.

It's extra exciting because I thought it would be at least another year before we'd make it back to the world.

Oh, and the world may change as we know it after flat Jordy and flat Winkers meet in 4D...:thumbsup2

Yeah!!!:yay::yay:

I can't wait to read a trip report with both Winkers and Jordan.

whilst (just for you Jo!) I was driving the kids around after school, the mean mean mommy in me had to mention that I'd booked our trip today. Oh, and to make it even worse mentioned that we'd be seeing Jordan.

He is a rock star to my kids! Ever since we took flat jordan with us they think he's the best.

Bailie was gasping and saying how unfair and Hunter was agreeing with her whole heartedly...

"but mom, it's not FAIR!"

"do you have an extra $1,000 lying around? If you do I'd be happy to take you."

"but mom, you get to meet JORDAN"

"honey, you've never even met or spoke to him before"

while pointing to his heart "yes I have, I talk to him right here".

A man in a chef's shirt, or is it a coat...anyway a guy walked up to our table and said "is there a Hunter Kendall here?"

Hunter's eyes got huge as he realized that the chef had come out to talk to him. He was so shocked and nearly gagged on his mouthfull of food.
That was D.Jay's secret. He had asked the manager if it would be possible to have the chef come out and meet our budding chef.

He was awesome! It made Hunter feel like the star of the universe. Just remembering it brings tears to my eyes. I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I love my husband! He is an amazing dad!

By the time we finished eating at Kona we were all wobbling in an effort to walk to the monorail.

We manged to make it and hopped a ride to MK for emh. The plan was Bailie and I would go to see Tinkerbell while d.jay, mil,and the boys did their own thing.

Splitting up served 2 purposes...1~I wouldn't have to hear the boys complain the entire wait in line and 2~ MIL was on my last nerve and I needed a teensy weensy break before I duct taped her to a boat for an hour of fun in IASW or locked her in the stocks in liberty square.

Ethan wasn't feeling well at all, but insisted he was going to stay at the park. He could hardly walk without feeling dizzy so D.Jay grabbed him a wheel chair. He would have preferred a scooter, but not wanting to be sued my disney for property damage , he didn't get one.

Bailie and I high tailed it (ok where exactly does that saying come from anyway?) to Toon Town to meet Tink.

We were the next to last people let in the line before they closed it. We had about an hour wait. We made friends with the mother and daughter behind us. I found out it was their first time to WDW and they were there just for a sports event.

In effort to not totally embarass my daughter I tried to maintain a "normal" level of excitment about the parks. By the time we were done I had her convinced to come back with her entire family, stay onsite and get the dinning plan. I'm still waiting for Disney to send my commision check!

A few minutes before we got through the door to meet the fairies I was handed a tiny photopass card . Since we "shrunk" before going in to meet them we had to have a smaller card.
It was so dang cute! And I felt a little special because only me and the other 1,000 people who met tink that day had one.
http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv20/winkerspictures/DSC02212.jpg
Bailie was so excited to meet the fairies....I swear she was about to cry from excitment. She denies this but when I watched her with them she acted like a 5 year old who believes it's real.:wizard:

http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv20/winkerspictures/photopass/image104.jpg

This is one of the few times I refuse to post a picture of me.....me next to those petite little fairies.....well, let's just say I look like the stay puff marshmallow woman. After seeing those pictures I swore I was going to become annorexic.....that lasted untill I got within 10 yards of a dolewhip float.

http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv20/winkerspictures/photopass/image110.jpg

I called D.Jay and headed for autopia to meet up with them. D.jay was looking a little annoyed. When I had a chance to ask what was wrong, he mentioned that mil insisted she needed to push the wheelchair.

Evan and Hunter wanted to take turns but she wouldn't let go, because she knows how to push it best.

ok, 1st~it's a wheelchair!!! 2nd~ your a member of AARP, you can relinquish control of the chair to your grandkids.
3rd~she is notorius for not paying attention and running into people.

Our little group headed for BTMR and along the way guess what happened? MIL ran right into bailie scraping up her heel.:headache:
Then she tried to blame it on Bailie, who had been walking beside the wheelchair.:confused3 She also managed to get my heel along the way too.

After 2 rides on BTMR we headed for the magic carpets. Then I went to mainstreet to find a purse I had seen earlier while everyone else road HM....for some reason that ride just gives me the willies. It scares me more than any rollercoaster.

Whimp, thy name is Cherie.

EMH went untill 1 that night but we decided to leave around midnight so we wouldn't get caught in the ocean of humanity trying to leave the park simultaniously.

But before we left, we had to get some photopass pics done so I could show off my handy dandy new photopass card.

Poor Ethan. Being sick at Disney World stinks. I hope he got to feeling better.

Danielle loved meeting the fairies too. Bailey looks like she's having a great little chat with Tink. I think we had the same Tink in June. She was just so darn cute.

I love your pictures in front of the Castle. Very frameworthy.

I think we should send you MIL to Disney with my sister.

In effort to not totally embarass my daughter I tried to maintain a "normal" level of excitment about the parks. By the time we were done I had her convinced to come back with her entire family, stay onsite and get the dinning plan. I'm still waiting for Disney to send my commision check!

Okay, I cannot believe that MIL insisted on pushing the wheelchair! Oh my! :lmao: I wonder how many other people she managed to hit with it?

!
Her mom used wheelchairs whenever she went anywhere for about 30 years, so mil had alot of "practice" pushing her mom around.
MIL even took one, yes she has her own and doesn't need it, to the county fair when she took the kids this summer. She pushed it around with her gallon water bottle in it so she could sit whenever she wanted.
My kids almost died of embarassment.

HA! I'm like you- in a good effort to keep some sort of decorum, I have to restrain myself from jumping up and down and flapping my arms in glee in the parks, esp. the first hour. I so know I mortify my kids. Oh well, too bad!

Bailie and I high tailed it (ok where exactly does that saying come from anyway?) to Toon Town to meet Tink.

According to allwords.com....

"hightail
verb
To retreat quickly.

As soon as she arrived, I hightailed it out of there.

Etymology: Refers to animals, such as deer, that raise their tail when running away."

The alarm came at 7:45 the next morning. Which I didn't need because I had been up most of the night listening to D.jay, Evan and MIL cough. It sounded like a symphany of mucusy dogs in our room. I was sure someone was going to hack up a lung.

Ethan had woken up around 5 crying because his throat hurt.:sad1: And just so I wouldn't feel left out, my head was throbbing. We were quite a group.

I was glad it was World Showcase day, which meant we didn't have to make any rope drops. when the gift shop opened at our resort I was waiting there in my pj's and a sweater.....this is not normal for me. I grew up with a mom who didn't leave the house, heck she wouldn't even answer the door, unless her face was on and her hair did. I'm not quite that bad, but close.

I was desperate for some drugs.....and for once not for me!
I made a bee line to the micro scopic drug section. I found some anti mucus stuff for the hackers and motrin and sore throat strips for Ethan. Considering the prices they charge for any kind of drug item (remember the gold and pixie dusted tampons of a former trip) you'd think they were selling them on a street corner out of a trunk.
I can just see Mickey as a phramacutical pusher.

I made it back to the room without looking anyone in the eye, for fear that they'd melt upon seeing me without my make up, and handed out the drugs.

I was thinking we wouldn't be making it to the park anytime soon, but the coughers all felt fine...they just sounded like crap.
Ethan on the other hand , had a slight fever and sore throat along with a "head hurt".

But he didn't want to stay at the resort. D.Jay decided that he'd get him a wheelchair again and see how he does for awhile.

Right before we got to the gates at Epcot, Evan spoted a group of white shirts and ties....Elders! He was realy excited. I guess I should explain.. Most young men from our church serve a 2 year mission between the ages of 19 and 21. Evan has been excited about serving since he was about 5....he now only has 3 years untill he'll go. So, to him it was like meeting rock stars.

I saw Belle in her blue dress walking in the corridor. I had only seen her in the yellow dress before. I'm not sure if it's pathetic or sweet that I got so excited over it. I know my sister votes for pathetic.:rotfl2:

She stopped for a second so we could get a picture. I was seriously shaking from excitment...I like to think it was from low blood sugar.

http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv20/winkerspictures/DSC02305.jpg

Okay, I think I've told you before I read your TR at work (sure beats actually working) but I can't respond from work and I'm usually too lazy to go back to it once I get home to comment! But I just had to this time because this is sooooooooo super cool!!! I didn't know the missionaries got to do that! How fun for them! I would have been just as excited to see them too! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

i do believe i once paid about $8 for a very small travel-size stick of deodorant from the pop gift store. i hated that i had to do that but i forgot mine. so it was either that or smell like one of those foreign tourists! :lmao: not you, jo! ;)

that's part of the evil plan...you pay the outrageous price because you can't go without it!

Great pictures from World Showcase! Your family is so fun--especially DJay!!! Love the Viking pic! :rotfl2:

Those prices for medications at Disney are truly outrageous! I don't know why they feel the need to charge so much -- it's not like we wouldn't spend the money on something much more fun while we were there.

How cool for Evan to meet the Elders! So, now does he hope he gets to serve in the Orlando area? ;)

Great character pics, and how awesome that you got to meet Belle in her blue dress! You look so excited in the picture!

Very cool WS tomfoolery pictures. Doing the troll photoshoot is a grand traditon we never miss. Ditto on the sombreros- all sizes.

Too bad you are all so sick! Mucus and hacking up lungs is never fun, but esp. not when you have EPCOT to get to. And tripply NOT when you have to pay your left eye and pinky toes for a minuscule amount of med.

Sometimes in the life of a mother there are things you do for your kids that make you question your sanity. Heck, what am I saying...sometimes? more like daily!

But tonight was a double whammy. Cub Scout pack meeting and a band concert. Normally, I enjoy pack meetings about as much as a root canal in Disney world but tack on a 2 hour band concert to the end of the evening and it makes the 15 boys yelling and running around for an hour seem like a day at the beach.

The band concert wouldn't be quite so bad, but Evan is in Jazz band also. I rate Jazz music about a hair above rap. As I was sitting in the packed, overheated theater, I looked around and noticed that almost everyone there had the same glazed over expression. There were a few who looked to be enjoying themselves but I think they all just turned their hearing aids off.

At least Evan is in High School now, so you can actually tell they're all playing the same song....his band in middle school managed to ruin the chicken dance. I didn't think it was possible to make the chicken dance worse but the 7th and 8th graders found a way that year.

It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't last so long. I think each piece lasts 10 minutes. Or how about playing something we have heard before or recognize?

Why you may ask do I do sit through these year after blessed year? Well, it's because I'm a mom. When I gave birth to that boy 16 years ago, I never imagined the pride I'd feel watching him play the tuba and trombone.
So, I sit through the concert with tears in my eyes....some from pride and some from pain.

When I die, I want my tombstone to read....Loving Mother who endured cub scouts and band concerts just because she loved us.

FINALLY, 2 days ago I started reading this report and I finally finished LOL

When I was in Disney Nov/Dec 08 I got a mini photopass card from Tink too. I loved it. I kept it on my wrist, it was so much better than remembering what pocket I shoved the regular size one in. Did you know your mini photopass can be reused? As long as you use it 1 year after you got it. This is what Tink's "helper" told me. I am not sure if this is true since I went back to Disney Sept/Oct 09 and that's not a year from my Nov/Dec 08 trip so i didn't get a chance to see if it was true or not. I still have it so I'll check next year.

I am "Pooh" sized so I find it funny that you feel the same way I do next to those tiny fairies. I see Tink at least twice a trip. I trying to see when they shrink me and bring me back to normal size if they can keep a couple of pounds. SO far it has not worked out :rotfl: but I can try right

Great report now that I'm caught up I can't wait to read more.

sounds like an interesting instrument! I tried to convince Evan to play the sax or even drums...but he was stuck on the trombone and now the tuba. thank heavens the tuba is too big to be brought home!

My 5 year old just asked for a drum set. The problem is as far as I can tell she does not have any rhythm (that does not look like it's spelled right)...honestly she's in dance right now...it's one where they try all the different types to find which one she's interested in. The tap section is hysterical....she never seems to tap in time with everyone else.

Sorry that you guys got sick on this trip! On our last trip our youngest got sick one night. She shot up to 104...but by the next day was fine. I believe it was from her licking everything in sight ( yes I did try to stop her!)...in her defense she was just one and half but ugh! Regardless of the cause it's not any fun to get sick at WDW!

After we got mil peeled away from her new boyfriend, we headed for Germany with reassurances that we would go back for China.

We had a date with the man who is responsible for me writing trip reports. I guess it's up to you to decide if that was a good or bad thing.

A few years ago when I was just a dis-baby, I discovered Nebo's tr. I had more pee your pants funny moments while I read about his mis-adventures. He is a little accident prone and can describe things in a way that will have you gasping for breath.

Ok, Steve....was that good enough? Oh, my check is in the mail?

At the time I started following the adventures of Nebo and Smidgy, my dh was working nights. I would sneak into the bedroom, where the computer was, and read....I was obsessed because I was planning my first family trip.

I should have been a good wife and waited till the hubby was awake or gone, but I just couldn't help myself.
Have you ever been in church or a serious situation when the urge to giggle hits?
As you try to remain silent, your shoulders start shaking up and down...when that fails to get the gufaw out of you, your entire body starts to bounce.

Your eyes begin to tear up and you start to hyperventilate...then everyone near you is glaring..because they would never laugh at such a time...

well that's what I would go through, except it was d.Jay in the bed who would give me the evil eye.

The evil eye would lead to me reading to him what was so funny.....and then the out of control laughter would start all over.

We got to the Biergarten right on time . When I checked us in, I told the cm that we were meeting 2 people and could we be sat at the same table.
Nope....the tables only seat 6.
I thought it was a little odd, because that last time we were there we had other people at the table with us.

I was bummed. My entire family was looking around trying to havce a Nebo sighting...but no luck.

We were escorted in to our table, where 3 other people were sitting....
ummm, I believe someone forgot how to count.

Just after I sat down from the buffet, I looked up and there was Nebo and Smidgy!! They were seated on the table across from us on level down.

I went down and said hello and all that akward stuff when you first meet someone. But in no time it felt like we had known eachother for ages.
http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv20/winkerspictures/DSC02362.jpg

It was nice to finally meet them...in person, so I could prove that my dis friends aren't just my imagination.:thumbsup2

After a while in China we encouraged MIl to go on her own for awhile, so she didn't have to worry about us.....to my bliss, she did. For about an hour and then called to find out where to meet us.

When I first spotted her this is what she'd bought in China...

http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv20/winkerspictures/DSC02444.jpg

Suddenly she was complaining that she had to limp when she walked because her hip hurt. It was kinda strage because she hadn't said anything about it before.

I guess that I forgot that she's a hypochondriac who loves being a member of AARP.

So we start on our way to Italy and look who we found....

http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv20/winkerspictures/DSC02392.jpg

I've always believed in the Magic of Disney and how good it can make you feel just strolling along .

But what I saw next was a Disney Miracle!!

MIL, who was limping 2 seconds before, made a charge for the penguin and jumped up into the air, not once but twice, and did heel clicks.

Even the kids couldn't believe how fast she recovered.

up next.....Kim Possible and crying...

But what I saw next was a Disney Miracle!!

MIL, who was limping 2 seconds before, made a charge for the penguin and jumped up into the air, not once but twice, and did heel clicks.

Even the kids couldn't believe how fast she recovered.

:rotfl::rotfl: Oh my... the healing powers of the penguin!! Little known Disney factoid right there!! :rotfl:

Mid Sept 09, as we entered Spaceship Earth, my cousin recognized a CM as being a missionary who had served in/near Saint John, New Brunswick (her ward): he was finished his mission and now on the college program working at WDW. He was saying there were quite a few LDS on the college program.

D.Jay and the boys headed off to get the kim-municator for their mission. The rest of us checked out some shops and then we all met up near American Adventure.

Once we were all together again, we headed in to listen to Voices of Liberty. I don't have words to describe how I feel when I listen to them...but I get chills and cry every time.
They sang The battle hymn of the republic, like I've never heard it before. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

I guess you could say I was raised in a very patriotic family. There is a long line of military service in my family, back to the Revolutionary war.
Both of my grandfathers were in the Marines durring WWII. I've listened to their stories and what compelled them to enlist and I am in awe of that generation.

Ok, so you're probably wondering why I'm telling you all of this. But I thought it might help explain my response to something.

The final scene of The American Adventure had just closed and the house lights came on, when from a few rows away, an elderly man stood up before anyone else had moved and yelled "God bless America".

I automaticaly thought about my grandpa's and my ancestors who have fought for freedom.

No one moved for a few seconds...I think you could have heard a pin drop. I left the theater wishing that my grandpa's were still alive so I could call them and thank them. Instead, when we got home, I took down the flag from my grandpa's funeral, that was in the back of a closet and put it somewhere that I will see everyday.

Ok, back to disney! Well, actually that is part of disney. Where else can you experience so many countries in one day and enjoy the beauty they all offer? I truly believe all countries and cultures should be celebrated. They all have some good and bad. And I'm glad that World Showcase gives me the chance to focus on the good.

Once I had "collected" myself and made sure I didn't have racoon eyes, we headed out. We found some characters right outside the building. I'd never seen any here before and as a bonus there were 2 we had never met before!

My Dad and 3 of his brothers were all in the army or airforce and my 2 of my mom's brothers. My older brother was also in the Navy for 12 years. And now Evan is considering the reserves because he wants to become a piolit. It scares me to death, but I've always taught them to respect the military, so I shouldn't be surprised.

I was a little worried after I wrote about it that I was a little too "mushy" about it....I've been reading a series of books about the revolutionary war, so this kind of stuff has been on my mind.

Wow you did see some unusual characters, I don't think I've seen any of them in the WS before!!!

Sounds like you had a very moving time, wish we were more patriotic here!
It's always fun to find characters when you don't expect it. another part of the disney magic!

What do you think abot the UK pavilion in WS?
I think one thing unique to the US, is that very few of us are actually "native". Most of us can trace our family back to another country. And alot of those are within a few generations.
You find alot of us very patriotic to our home country but there is alot of pride and celebration of the countries our ancestors came from.
Does that make sense? I'm not good at putting somethings into written words.
My great great grandparents immigrated from Wales in the mid 1800's and another line from England about the same time.
I also have a great grandfather that came from Sweden around 1900. Then you throw in a little german and Puritans from England in the 1600's.
Which basically makes me a mutt.

All of this gives me a pride in not only my country but also the ones they came from.

[It makes me wonder.....do they think no one can see them?? They are DIRECTLY behind where the photo is being taken. :confused3

You've kept me company today as I worked around the house doing laundry, helping my daughter get her room cleaned, cooking breakfast, going over the grocery list with DH so he'd be clear about the baking items I needed, etc. I had the laptop set up on the kitchen counter as my headquarters for the day. I'd get some task going and come back to read a couple of pages before getting something else started.

I love to hear when other people have the same experience on hearing the Voices of Liberty or seeing the American Adventure. I just want to hug that man for standing up and saying what we all should be saying every day.

I saw you talking about sending your DH to the grocery store, and I just had to post this for you - I laughed until I cried when I first heard this one:

I was wondering about those people too! What the heck could they be thinking?!?

Cherie, I get the same way at the American Adventure...
My dad and his four brothers served in the navy during WWll.
It just makes you proud to call this country home...
I feel so blessed to live in a time where the majority of our men didn't have or need to serve. And when you think about it, it's amazing that there didn't have to be a draft durring WWII because so many volunteered.

What a hear warming update! I love your pictures. I really want to get my kids to see the American Adventure. Hasn't happened yet. Trip before last we took Danielle to see the Hall of Presidents and she wasn't happy. She said she didn't come to Disney to learn, but since then she has studied about the American Revolution.

What books are you reading?
I love that Danielle didn't go there to learn! I can't think of a better place to learn.

I'm re-reading a series called Prelude to Glory. There's 7 (I think) in the series...and they are huge hardbacks. The author does a great job of sprinkling "real" people and using fictional characters to tell about actual events. And while there's alot about the logistics of the war, it's easy to read because of the characters.

I'm going back to school in January to get my bachelors in History. I bet you couldn't tell it's my favorite subject...next to disney.:rotfl2:

i'm glad those people decided to be in your picture! what were they doing?
Maybe they were watching MIL do a dance with her cane?

I'm caught up with this trip report and getting ready to check out the new pre-trip report. I'm glad I could help out with your house work!

How did your husband do with the grocery list? I can give D.Jay exact instructions and he still comes back with the wrong thing. I've just learned that it's like getting a surprise whenever I send him to the store.:)

:rotfl2::rotfl2:That's true - 2 days each way - So Oregon to Phoenix

hmmmm......would you like some prozac? or maybe slip your MIL some ambien?
