I know this have been asked a million times, but I can't seem to find the thread. Can anyone give me some information on obtaining a florida marriage license by mail or post a link to info? How early in advance should you apply for it? How much does it cost? Thanks!

We went through Brevard County (which I first read about on these boards). The link for the paperwork is: http://199.241.8.125/index.cfm?FuseAction=MarriageLicenses.Forms

I think the fee is in the neighborhood of 92$.

The license is only valid for 60 days. We got married Jan 12 2009, so in early November we faxed the preliminary forms. A week later they sent us paperwork which we had notorized (we went to our bank). We sent that back via registered mail and about a week later they sent us the forms that our officiant would sign at the wedding. We mailed everything back on Jan 17th and about 10 days later received our official, final wedding license.

we got married in Palm Beach County and it was $93

The license is good for 60 days but you have a 3 day waiting period

We got ours 2 weeks before the ceremony

Does anyone know if the license by post works to the UK too or do you have to be a US resident ?

Thanks
