PRYD--What time did she pull in? I saw the Carnival arrive and turn around about 9:15 but when we got home from church the Magic was already in.
I wonder what time we will dock and what time they will be ready for us to disembark.
Am I excited ?~!~?~! (maybe)

Jan instead of brunch at Palo wonder what it would be like to have dinner watching the sunset from Palo while in port at Key West.
Thanks Ray, just 5 more months till we're there.

Tom was thinking that it would be more fun to watch the approach and docking from deck 10 like we did last time. We were diverted to Key West in 1999 since the hurricane damaged CC. When they came to a full stop and then turned 180 degrees before sliding sideways up to the pier it was the oddest sensation. No sense of us moving--more like the world was moving around us. A 360 theater. Great fun!~! :D
We had planned to watch the sunset from deck 10 also. But are doubtful :( it will happen as we have been in Key West three times and always had overcast skies so saw no sunset. But Palo for dinner is an idea....
We have always eaten in our assigned diningroom as we loved the food, staff and entertainment there, :) so are not sure we want to miss anything by going to Palo this time either.
We will discuss it. Let's see what the others say. Can we ask on our ".....Halloween...." thread?

Why not! On our last cruise Bill and I ate at Palo as much as they would let us. Ashley didn't want to leave the Oceanears club, she ate with them. Topsiders was nice also for dinner. We ate there 2 nights, one night with Ray and Tony. Looking forward to it again.

PRYD?
ANYONE?
Any idea if there is a web cam that will give us a shot of the MAGIC in Cozumel and Grand Caymen?
Ginger: will you ask about dinner at Palo for Sunday night and see what kind of reply we get on ".......Halloween........." ??

Anyone know if there are webcams at Cozumel and Grand Cayman?

RAY--Thanks for looking for web cams to catch the MAGIC at Cozumel and Grand Caymen. I found KROOOZE CAMS at
http://www.kroooz-cams.com
but none of those ships are at those ports when the MAGIC is so we cannot use their ship cam to catch the MAGIC in port. Thanks for keeping me posted.

Our Grand Caymen web cam appears to be a beach that I think is on the other side of the island from where we will be. If I recall correctly, we are going to be docking at a city--no? So the ship I see is probably not the MAGIC. It also looks too white to be the MAGIC. But I printed it out for fun anyway.
If anyone finds a web cam with the MAGIC in view, I hope they add it to this thread!!

This cam shows Seven-Mile Beach on Grand Cayman with a couple of ships on the horizon. The one on the left looks a lot like the Magic. The ship on the right would appear to be Celebrity's Century.
See what you think.

I did not get to check this thread until 11 pm so all I can see on the webcam is black. Did you by any chance print out the picture you got?
I bookmarked the site and will try to remember to check it in two weeks. I did see a ship at 7 mile beach in the morning but it looked too white to be the MAGIC.
Thanks for looking. :)
Does anyone have an idea about a webcam at COZUMEL?

I got a good look at her as she left port last night and it was indeed the Magic.
This site purports to be a webcam overlooking the cruise ship pier in Cozumel, but I can't get a connection though it may be a firewall problem on my end. Let me know if you can see anything.

LenDVC92: THANKS!! ;)
Again I did not get to the computer until 11 PM but did bookmark your Cozumel site and it's homepage. I got no picture either. But maybe it will work another day, or maybe I will send a message if there is an address on the homepage and see if they can fix it.

Today I tried the Cozumel site you found and got a message that the DIAMOND BOOkSTORE is off line. Perhaps that was our problem yesterday. We can keep trying.
Are you taking the Western MAGIC cruise?
