I am on the regular dining plan and will be staying at the Contemporary Resort. My son really wants Mickey waffles or pancakes for breakfast. I cannot find any restaurant option inside the Contemporary that offers Mickey waffles or pancakes except Chef Mickeys (which we have a reservation for once during our seven day stay). I did notice that room service has Mickey Waffles and pancakes but I do not want to burn 2 table service credits each morning on that. Can I order room service and just have it billed to the room seperately and not use our dining plan credits? If so, how hard is it to do that? Does room service automatically charge it against the dining plan? I do not want to create a ton of effort having to constantly straighten this out at the front desk if this is a pain to do. If anyone has had any experience, please advise. Thanks so much in advance!

When you call, tell them you will be paying cash for the room service and not using DDP credits.

The counter service at the Poly serves Mickey waffles.

I'd also check the contempo cafe (? I think that's what it's called) when you arrive as well as Gasparilla at the GF. The online menus - especially for counter service - are not always 100% complete.

You may be able to hop on the monorail, have breakfast and then head out to the park. Since CR, Poly and GF all share the same buses it shouldn't matter which hotel you grab it from (or if you're driving just grab the monorail back to the CR).
