We have the DDP and have made my ADRs a while ago.

I just read someone called to add the DDP to their ADRs. I don't understand this.

Does the ADRs have anything to do with whether or not your on the DDP? I don't recall them asking about the DDP when I called for ADRs.

I would think that getting an ADR only gets you a place to put your butt and the DDP is just a way to pay for it.

Am I missing something?

No. The only time I've been asked if I was on any dining plans was when we were seated at the restaurant. In terms of reservations it might only matter on the few that take a deposit to hold the reservation.

Some of the CM's ask when you call to make ADR's so that they can tell you if the place you selected is or is not on the plan and also whether it will be 1 or 2 credits. Some just give out more info than others.

It only matters on the ones that are prepaid, like CRT, Spirit of Aloha, etc.

The only time it matters at the reservation stage whether or not you are on the DDP is if you booked prepaid meals at CRT or one of the dinner shows.
