Clean, neat and tidy or wild

What do you prefer...
Gardens that are neat with clean lines and perfect mulch?

Or wild gardens with plants stuffed here and there.

I'm sure you won't believe this Amid, but I like everything neat and tidy, nothing out of place.....big surprise eh? ;) :D


......I guess I need to get in touch with the wild gardener side to me....it's there.....somewhere! :D

I'll make you sit in the middle of my garden until you understand your wild side. You may get the shakes for awhile but I promise, it'll go away.

I like the wild side.

Although I do try to keep it mulched, weeded and neat.

I admire formal gardens with all their grandeur but do not feel at home in them. I have said before I am a hodgepodge gardener. I like a natural look with some things out of place and lots of suprises around the next corner.

I always think I love it on the wild side until I visit someone's garden that is so pristine that I die for order in my garden.

It'll never happen though. I just don't have the time, the patience, the energy.....and the $$$$! LOL LOL

I like everything clean, neat and tidy.... but the organization of the garden is definitely on the "WILD" side for me. LOL! I have a propensity to just toss things together and "see what happens". Sometimes it is great - other times it is not.... for the latter I just move them and try something else! My garden has the wild chaotic effect of a cottage garden - but it is done with plant varieties that are not necessarily typically found in a cottage garden - I go with what grows here. :)

As much as I like the garden to be neat and weed free - there are definitely times where that is not so! Usually I get to it fairly quickly and put things right in my small world.
