misc. waitlist experiences

Just for fun I ended up waitlisting like a fiend the week before the new w/l rules went into effect. Three different trips have come through in the past week. One was to switch from OKW to VWL for the second week in March, and another was to add some days at BWV standard view next October. The final was to switch from a 2 b/r to a 1 b/r at BCV in May; I had a 2 b/r reserved at 11 months, tried to switch when my dd couldn't make it and only got a partial switch. I decided to make these ressies only in the past month, so it was a quick turnaround. DVC doesn't seem to be as busy as usual.

Good for you. I've been waiting for a month now for a Savannah view studio for Kidani, one night, the Sunday of Memorial weekend. I have a St. view for my friends, and hope the savannah view comes through for them. Yesterday DSis told me that her friend could some to WDW for just a night during our March trip, so I'm waiting for a studio for the night of March 23th. I'm hoping a room does clear for DSis, she has a room booked at the S/D and it's $250 and that's with discounts, too rich for me, and I'm glad to help DSis out.

We have been on a wait list for a 2 bedroom anywhere since December for our March 20th trip. Nothing yet. :sad1:

We had 2 waitlist come thru on 2/12....first was for BCV 2 BR 8/15-8/22......2 queen beds in the second bedroom....we already had the 2BR with the 1 queen bed and sleep sofa booked.......second was for a SV studio at BWV 10/16-10/21 we had a PV booked.... :wizard: pixie dust to those still on a waitlist

We have waitlisted twice last July, for 1 night BWV, and BWV/AKV for last Dec for 12/18-12/24
BWV came thru, Dec trip nothing came thru but its very busy then so no biggie stayed at OKW was very nice.pirate:
