lanyard for kttw cards and misting fans

Where can one purchase these prior to Disney World? Walmart?? Target??
Any advice would be helpful. My boys always want those misting fans, but I always say no, since I think I can buy them on the outside world cheaper, but always forget.

I think you can get both at Target or Wal-mart as you mentioned. You may want to check ebay for a disney one though. We got some Disney lanyards when we booked our cruise a few years ago and they are very heavy duty. We also got Disney Cruise lanyards onboard as well. Ebay may have Disney themed ones for you for a decent price. Make sure you get the ones with the clear sleeve at the bottom though. Easier to use and don't have to punch a hole in your card.

We bought a misting fan and a little personal fan on a lanyard from Walmart. All I remember right now is that we bought them in the warm months and the prices were decent. Maybe 8 bucks and 5 bucks a piece.

We never did find just a lanyard. We went without.

I found misting fans at Walmart in their hardware section. Look up, they were on the top of the shelf.
As for the lanyards, we bought ours at WDW (not too bad pricewise). I will warn you that my DD's clear pouch tore off with her KTTW card inside. Luckily she noticed right away but we did not find it. We went right to Guest Services and they cancelled the old ones and issued new ones. We didn't carry them in our lanyards anymore after that.

We bought plain black lanyards at Office Depot, along with plastic sleeves to put the KTTW cards in.

We got the Mistymate misters last summer at BJ's: 3/$15 I think. They MADE our trip!!! It was hot and humid last August, but those misters made an incredible difference!!!

I got several lanyards on e-bay all different designs. One was a cute lanyard with a zippered canvas/fabric coinpouch and see thru plastic pocket on the back. Pouch is big enough to fit my ID so I'm hoping it will also hold all our KTTW cards. It attaches with a plastic clip to the lanyard. They had multiple designs - mickey, cars, princesses, etc.
