I have been making preparations for a trip to St. Augustine over my son's spring break when I remembered the buy 3, get 2 days free deal. Just mentioned it in passing to the wife who was rided out, and she LOVES Portofino and said she'd love to go back if we can get the discounted rate.

I am sure it is no mistake on the Loew's folks, but the Atlanta area's spring break falls during their 2-week blackout period on the offer in April. :sad2:

Well, I guess on the bright side, I haven't been to St. Augustine in years and the beach is supposed to be really nice.

Please explain! I'm booked on 5/3 at HRH and is there something going on that I need to know about. I got a great rate for HRH for $144 a night?

Loews will set aside of date range of SS rates, but will black out certain dates when they expect to be at capacity. It looks like they've blacked out 2 weeks of April to account for Spring Break crowds.

If you've booked at a $144 rate then congrats and have FUN!

Well it sounds like I'll be getting good use our of our FOTL perk! We are AP holders, so like to start our trips off at US/IOA then move to our DVC resort.
