We just returned from our 10 day trip to Disney. We just joined the DVC and are very excited. Does anyone have any helpful hints, suggestions, or recommendations for stays?
We are already talking about where we will go for next year, a small vacation, possibly to Lake George or Pennsylvania. Thanks.

Congrats on your membership!!! You may want to check out HHI if you haven't stayed there. It's a very nice resort and is very laid back atmosphere compared to the on-site DVCs. We joined last year and want to try all the DVC resorts first before venturing to any exchanges. Good Luck.:p

Welcome home. One tip, you'll find your greatest value is staying at DVC resorts instead of with exchanges. HH and Vero beach may be great options if you want to take a break from WDW. Your points will go alot further there. Although, those outside options are sure nice to have. We plan to use them for Hawaii and maybe a cuise sometime.

This is a great place for all kinds of good info on how to best use yoru membership investment.

As others have mentioned, best value is with the DVC resorts. There are other timeshares that can easily be traded, but if you own DVC you already own where everyone wants to stay.
