Hi everyone! I am hoping that someone here will be able to help me. I am trying to think of a good gift to get for my friends who are celebrating their civil union. Part of the problem is that they are moving to chicago in a month, sniff, sniff...
Anyway, I was thinking of maybe a gift card to Broadway in Chicago. Would this be ok for a civil union. They don't have a registry and have been living together for a few years so I'm not really sure if they need any home type things.
Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated!
Thanks!

I'm sure that they'll be touched and happy that you thought to get them a present!
Gift Cards are always a great idea in my mind. We got loads of them for our Commitment Ceremony (Crate and Barrell and William Sonoma mostly--but we registered there, so that's why.) and going shopping with them was so much fun. We loved it.
I'm guessing "Broadway in Chicago" is the Chicago area organization that brings touring Broadway shows in to a local theatre? If so, and they're fans of B'way shows, it sounds like an AWESOME gift! I'd sure love to get something like that.
Hope this helps!

I'm a HUGE gift card fan. I got my friends Bed, Bath and Beyond cards when they "civil union'ed". The only thing is you have to check that the cards don't expire or incur costs. Bed, Bath and Beyond cards don't, so that's why I went with them.

would never get for themselves.
I know a lot of massage place do couples massages -
that might be nice.
