What is everyone going to do with their huge stimulus monies of $13.00 a week in tax cut/take home pay that shrinks to $8.00 a week and then actually becomes zero if they decide to repeal the Tax cut that Bush put in place?

I have not decided yet. I don't know whether to buy a new Trailer or a New Car.:rolleyes1

Okay, okay.....let's put this into perspective.

If you are a 2 income household, that's $26/week, times 52 weeks= $1352/year. $1352 divided by $128= 10.56 nights in a premium campsite during the premium camping times of year. Let's all go camping!!

Scott - I am surprised at you. I look forward to 15 April and signing that check. I feel it is my duty as an American to be sure that I pay my share and then some so that illegals can have free healthcare and welfares can stay home and watch Jerry Springer.

Or, for cheapskates like me, thats 21 days at the Fort! Now if I can just figure out a way to keep getting paid for that 21 days so I can happily pay my taxes (see post above).......

"He who walks on water" signs the "bend over" bill tomorrow morning, that our fearless leaders passed, and has been sitting on his desk since late Friday evening.

So why is he waiting till tomorrow to sign his bill ?? It must have to do with something to do with Pres. Lincoln on that same day :confused3 .
Or is it possible that now that it's been passed,,would they dare ADD A COUPLE XTRA ITEMS to the bill ???

They were tooting their horn this morn on TV news about "the XTRA $13. a week will go to everyone,,EVEN the middle class" ! AIN'T THAT WONDERFUL !! CRAP, that won't even pay for a camp site at the Fort for a week !!!!
That won't feed a family of 4 for dinner at home for one night !!!

Not that i like paying it. But i just write a check on the 15th. I am american so I just have to pay for the illegals to have free healthcare and all of the other perks a non working illegal, and some legals get.

Still trying to find out how to get nobama to pay my mortgage and gas. Anyone know how to get in touch with the lady that said that before the election? I would like to know if nobama contacted her yet. He sure as heck hasn't contacted me yet.

Funny how he's taken longer to sign the bill than congress got to review it...oh wait, they didn't did they?

At least we are nearing the end of "it's all Bush's fault!":thumbsup2

After looking at our taxes this year, if they go up considerably next year we will save more money if my wife quits and stays home. How's that for creating jobs and increasing GDP! :woohoo:

I hear the CB coming with torches and pitchforks!

They had to wait till there was enough TV and radio publicity build up for the "historical president" to sign "HIS" (at least those are his words),
"historical bill".

WooHoo,,let the spending begin !!
Ya'll do know that there is going to come the time when they are gonna start raising our tax to pay for this and the next "package " that they are already working on ,,right ?

Did anyone realize that over 1/3 of this bill is tax cuts? I didn't. Almost 20% is to help states deal with their deficits? Deficits are $40 billion in California alone, $16 billion in NY and $8 billion in FL.

This country is in very, very tough shape. And A-Rod is on steroids! :confused3

That and stimulating the economy by flying out to MI on Air Force One at taxpayer's expense just to sign a bill that he could have done back in Washington D.C. after just coming back again from a junket to Chicago. In less than a mo. he has made 4 trips on Air Force One ... he's going to wear that pricey mode of transportation out .... OH another couple of billion for a couple of new planes. STAND BY THIS IS JUST THE START OF SOMETHING UGLY.

I like your calling it the "BEND OVER" bill and at least Vasoline stocks should benefit from this miss-step.

LOL not really humor just reality from what happened in the stock market today after they (i.e. the stock market) realized this "not helpful" bill to coin a state and defense department saying.

I'm fuming and am looking closely for the Pelosi/Reed nose ring that should be growing out of our leader shortly as he follows the leads of those that "feel the power".

I was disappointed the GWB in the last couple of years, but this is like replacing Ronald Regan with Jimmy Carter as far as dealing with the economy goes.

P.S. No there is no hope for me that's long gone
