Shipping Package To Resort

How much time should we allow for a package to be delivered to our resort. We check in on Wednesday and not sure if we should ship on Friday or Saturday prior to our check-in.

It depends on where you are sending it from and whether you are sending it 2-day or regular ground. UPS ground can take anywhere from 3 to 7 days depending on where you live and how many packages they have to ship at the time. In 2006 I sent my luggage down and I sent it 6 days in advance and it got there a day before we did (which the website said it would). This year I sent it Dec. 24th and it got there Jan.6. The website said it would be there on the 5th. So it was a day late. We always travel in the winter so I allow a day or two extra for weather related delays. The website is pretty accurate in their letting you know arrival dates if you go on there and plug in all of the information.

Just don't send it USPS. FedEx or UPS is fine.

I went in Feb of 08 and mailed my package 7 days prior to my arrival date.

I called the day before we left to make sure my package arrived. No problems
It was there safe and sound. :)

It was also very easy to track UPS. :flower3:

They will hold it, np if it gets there early. I would definitely err on the side of caution, sending it earlier...
