We had no plans to visit Disney World this March break but when I found some cheap ($59) flights from Detroit to MCO I couldn't pass them up.
We still had about 65 points left this year. I was just going to bank them but when I got the great flight deal I wanted to try and use some of the points.
Had to get on a wait list as no studios were available. This wait list request was pre new rules so I requested a studio at any Disney World DVC. Had a back up plan in place if my wait list request didn't come in.
Saw the great news when I logged in the member's area last night ... we got a studio at SSR. Not our home resort but stll happy to get to spent some time in a DVC resort.
All is good.

Thanks ... we are excited at this last minute trip to DW. This will be a cheap one. We bought 10 day non expirey passes a couple trips ago and still have park visits left.
So our only cost this trip will be the cheap flights and our meals.
Southwest has pretty good deals, yu just have to be flexible and travel on weekdays.

Thanks Rob,
Wasn't our first choice but I was pretty sure we wouldn't get our home resort. We have now stayed at the Beach Club and Old Key West so seeing a different DVC resort will be nice.
Really ... any place at the World is a good place. :)

Yes, you can't beat the prices .... and when I originally booked the return home flight was at 6:35am ... I just saw they put on the 9:20am flight for $59 so I was able to make the switch to a better return flight time.
Having flown on SW about 6 times now I am a SW fan!

That's a great price, and I'm glad you got a studio too! I'll be at WDW March 21 to 28 and can't wait:banana: We paid $259 per person to go...but it was the best we could do.

I'm going to wait for SWs prices for Aug. Last flight was on Airtran and they sure don't have a problem changing flight times. How is SW for keeping their times the same?

I haven't had a problem with them but then again I haven't had a problem with any other airline either. Flights from DTW to MCO seem to go on time for us and often arrive a few minutes early.
That said, I sure some other have had a bad experience. Every airline has good and bad days.
