I just got A Email alert from A local news station. Columbus, ohio and most of the central Ohio area are under A Tornado Watch untill 9pm tonight. Severe Weather is posible for today with high winds and Thunderstorms, Some may be severe. I am worried that the storm that spawned Tornadoes in Oklahoma will spawn Tornadoes here in Ohio. I hope not. The high winds are bad But now we may get hit by severe weather . speaking of high winds, it's Deja vu from September when high winds hit columbus knocking out power. Here we go again:sad2: :confused3

Stay safe, we have a high wind advisory for tonight, must be the same cold front working its way east. No tornados for us though....I hope it stays just a watch for you, not a warning....That's so scary.

Stay safe. Does Ohio normally get tornados? We only get F1s and those are extremely rare, so much so that they make the news. We did have two water spouts by my house last summer. I couldn't imagine, how scary! Please be careful.

They had the big US-Mexico soccer match in Columbus tonight(USA 2-0 Mexico:) )....I didn't recall the TV commentators mentioning any threat of severe weather-just the wind.
DISer AngieBelle went to Indiana this week to see her favorite Broadway star Susan Egan perform ....I hope she doesn't get caught in this bad weather.

Sometimes we do get toenadoes. The last major tonado that hit ohio was 2 years ago A F-3 Tornado hit my hometown of Columbus in the northeast suburbs of New Albany There was little or no damage done. Last summer we had tornado warnings on june 25th around 11:30pm that night . Thank God no touchdown but lots of Rain thunder and lighting

***Weather Update**** It's quiet now The storm that blew in last night did not cause much damage just some rain and lots of high wind. Some minor Power loss in Columbus. I saw A Tree branch laying across someone's fence. The Fence was slightly Damaged from the Branch , Transformers were Blowing out nearby when the wind started to pick up. All is well but Burrrrrrrr its getting Cold again.
