View Full Version : Coloring Shirts Birthday Party Material suggestions
I am planning on designing a shirt for the children to color at DD birthday. The children are all around the age of three. I was thinking of using some type of fabric markers. I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions for me as far as brand of markers or technique etc! Any help will be appreciated!

I am always happy with the Marvy Markers. :thumbsup2 I find the Crayola ones come out very light. Make sure the kids wear something to protect their clothes as the markers are all permanent.:)
Thank you for your reply. I am going to try posting over in the family section too since it gets a little more traffic too. Have you used paint as well? If so, which do you find works better for young children?

Make sure you really know the kids, unless you plan to cover the entire room in plastic. My 3 year old has been know to paint the table, his hands, the floor and the wall in the 5 seconds it takes to grab a towel. We do not allow him to use anything that is not washable. (We test everything first for ease of cleanup).
Yes, I do know the kids well. But in any case I know that kids can move fast. Each of the kids will have a parent with them for the activity. Otherwise I would not even consider doing such an activity!
