When I started this we hadn't been booked yet, but I did it yesterday. We will be @ CSR from the 18 - 25. I sure hope the weather is nice, we always go Aug/Sept for low crowds and it's so hot that we are still irritable. I'm expecting many people, but if the weather is less hot and humid, perhaps it will be tolerable. And we don't like to do the EMH for crowds sake so I'm hoping for a great time in April!!!

Do not think they will close it early. The 18th is the end of peak season and they will keep it open until then. We slightly changed our plans because of this shutdown so we can ride on it before it closes.

I noticed alot of people are starting their vaca on the 19th because WDW website gives a break in the 4/3 dates and the 19th is the start after a break.

I think if I had the choice to stay anywhere (and money wasn't an issue) I would choose Beach Club! Animal Kingdom Lodge would be a close second - but the pool/beach at the Beach Club and proximity to Epcot and DHS make it seem like a great place to stay! Enjoy!

We were actually stuck between Animal Kingdom and Beach Club when we were choosing, but went with Beach Club for the reasons you mentioned!
