Commercials you dislike or hate....

I was just watching the tube last night and that Oliver's Jewelery (Toronto area) commecial came on. I can"t stand it!! It is just wrong......
Another one is the Blinds to Go....that lady (sorry if you are on the DIS :guilty: ) looks like a man to me. It's just a weird commercial.

All those Viagra and Cialis commercials. Hate them, hate them hate them!!! Soo stupid and annoying. Not because of the subject, but the way it's so ridiculously shown. I always scream 'My god, couldn't you just have skipped the opera altogether and stayed home?' no, they have to play some stupid 'oh the car won't start, go ahead without us....' game. Ugh! Couldn't they manage a quickie before they left??

Don't even get me started on the one with the sprinklers going haywire and the dinner burning in the oven......pleeaasse!! Or the missing couple on the news....

I second that...absolutely disgusting commercial! On the flipside, I think the Huggies commercial where the man lays the baby on the bed and removes the diaper and the baby sprays everywhere is quite funny.

Yesterday I was at the Mall at the Koodo kiosk purchasing a cell phone for my son. While there I think at least 3 people walked by going "Koodoo". I said to the salesgirl, that must get pretty annoying. She just smiled and gave me that look. I responded, at least you know, the advertising works.

It's the guilt commercials that bug me. The ones for RRSPs and Weight Watchers that we have to watch over and over again every January/February.

The Disneyland commercial is bothering me.

It's the one where you can stay for as little as $68 per person.

I have to snicker everytime as the Free Dining Deal is $58 per person and it inclued the DP and you are staying on property.

I know I am paying a bit more than the DL deal because we booked the bounceback for October (not value season) but I am also on property and I have the DP! Oh, and I'm at WDW not DL!

I don't think I like any commercials. I try not to pay attention to them. I guess that's why I can't think of any commercials at this point. And another reason why we like recording our shows, we just skip the commercials.

I guess for me the question would be if I LIKED any commercials. ;) It would be far easier to narrow it down.

I agree about the deoderant ad...I hate that woman. I also dislike the tampon ad where all the women are spinning in those skirts...dont' know why but it bugs me. I also hate the "ready before you are" rice ad...all that says is she didn't plan well :lmao:

I love the whiskas ads...althought the new hubert one isn't all that great. I LOVED the one with the guy pretending to be a kitten when he launched himself at the curtains. And the fat guy in his housecoat asking if anyone brought food then rolling over to go to sleep is totally my DH in cat form...my inlaws and I tease him about that since when we had our first son he would message everyone to try to get them to bring fast food at 11pm :rotfl:

I think that the MAN (had to be a guy) who thought up the Always "Have a HAPPY PERIOD" slogan must be killed or at least fired...There is nothing happy about getting your period unless you are a teenager hoping that last Saturday's romp with the jerk at the beer party does not mean you are preggers...

For me it's all of the commercials where you hear dogs eating - they're chomping and slobbering away and that noise just drives me nuts!

The worst one of those is for Flintstone Vitamins - if your kid eating sounds as noisy as your dog eating - the dishes can wait, please sit down at the table and teach the kid a little manners.

I hate the one where they drop the crackers into the soups. The soups exploding everywhere looks like throw up to me. It just drives me crazy and is the reason I watch tv with the remote in my hand.

One that made me cry was the Commercial where the little boy delivers papers, and it's raining one day and he has to go out into the rain all by himself to deliver them(all sad), and then his dad pulls up in his SUV..a FORD commercial..lol.don't ask...LMAO:confused3

I hate the commercial for the blanket with sleeves. What kind of dork would wear one of those to a football game!

I also really don't like the Knorr frozen entree commercial, or rather *beeping* entree. I can't watch it.. I have to change the channel immediately when it comes on. :mad:
