View Full Version : $5.00 sports sandals at Lands End

Lands End Outlet had sports sandals for $5.00 - still had several sizes in 3 different colors. I took the chance because I didn't want to put out the dough for Nike or Teva and I don't really wear this kind of shoe. They are light and pretty cozy at this point. Of course I don't know what all day at a park would bring, but I have several other pairs of Lands End shoes and have never been disappointed. See what you think.

They look good. Please explain what you mean by cozy. I have wide feet and really don't like to mail order shoes for that reason.

Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered a pair. I have always loved shopping at the Lands End Outlet when we leaved in Chicago. I like getting a good deal on good quality.!

I got these too...Beware they run large. I am a 7 and they are hugh, so I ordered the 6 and they are a perfect fit. I wore them for a few hours and my feet really hurt though, so they aren't like the Lands End sandals from years ago.

That's a great bargain! Unfortunately, the smallest they have right now is a 7, and I'm a 5-1/2. They always sell out of the smallest ones first. :(

Thank you Susie! I ordered a pair for myself and one for my sister! Postage was still just $3.95, whether I ordered one or two pairs, so I got a pair for her, too! We are going in Oct. I have a pair of Tevas which I HATE, they are so uncomfortable and hard/stiff. I also have a pair of much cheaper ones from Ocean Pacific, but have worn them out! Thanks again!

These are awesome! I got them today! They are so comfortable. The Tevas I got 2 years ago are so uncomfortable, I can't seem to break them in. They were like $50. These from Land's End are comfortable the moment you put them on.

Thank you again, Susie, for the heads up on this sale!!!!

Hey - thanks for the great tip. I like Land's End, but never think to look at outlet. Sandals under $10 - Walmart can't even bet that!

I got mine yesterday also and wore them on a long walk last night. Very comfy! I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered the size 7, which are fine if I tighten the straps almost completely. They definitely run big.

I ordered another pair. Can't beat it for $8.95 including shipping!

Thanks for this information! I ordered 3 pairs, 2 for myself and one for my daughter. Got them within 3 days and they are very comfortable. Working on breaking them in for our July trip. They should work very well, I have wide feet and I was a bit concerned when I say the toe area, but they fit very well, no pinching at all. I walk about a mile and a half every day and they are great.

I hate wearing sneakers when it's hot but I can never find a comfy pair of sandals that I can wear all day. I hope these work out. Since I'm a big foot (11W), I'm glad they run large too.

Thanks for the tip!

Hey do they have an arch support in them or are they totally flat with no contoring? I love my TEVA's but sometimes the arch doesn't always hit the right spot.

I've had my pair for a couple of weeks now and they are great! You can't beat a good lands end overstock sale!

Spinning, they have a contoured, not a flat bottom. It's more like a tennis shoe bottom. They have an arch support and a little "bump" under your toes. That's the same reason I can't wear my Tevas, they're just flat with straps attached, very uncomfortable. These from Land's End are awesome!

Thanks so much! I just ordered mine! I've been looking at the Teva's but darn are they expensive! I'll give these a try first!

Really appreciate the tip on this!

Thank you, Thank you for this thread. I have been looking for a good pair of sports sandals that doesn't have a large price. Purchased a pair last nite and thinking about getting another.

I just ordered four pairs. Three for myself (one in each color) and one pair for my niece.
I just love lands end, 85% of my clothes and shoes are from them. So I know first hand that the quailty is very good for the money.

Just got mine in tan and cobalt and I think I like them a lot and I love the price. I wear an 8 and ordered an 8. They extend about 1/2 inch beyond my toes, but don't think I could have used the 7. The arch and the little bump under my toes both hit in the right places. Now I have about 10 days to break them in. They seem very comfortable while I'm sitting at the computer.

I was a little worried when I received a emailed shipping confirmation today (I had placed the order four days ago.) The funny part is that they arrived today.

They are a little on the long side but they do fit. I have wider feet and the size 7 might be a little too small. They look nicer and are more comfortable than I imagined. They will definately be nice to have on our trip next week.:D

My sandals came today! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!!! They are the most comfortable sandal I have ever put on!

I wear a size 9 and ordered these in an 8 since I read here how they run big. Boy, am I glad I did. The 8 fits perfectly!

These sandals sure beat $70.00 Teva's!

I got mine the other day. I wore them all night that night to break them in. I have wide feet and the top strap (closest to the toes) was a little tight at first. I wore them all day yesterday, did a lot of walking and stood on my feet for about an hour working a concession stand and my feet felt great at the end of the day. Even the tightness went away. I really like these and I think they will be great for disney. Now I'm going to order my DH and son some.

Got my shoes, perfect fit, comfy just a little snug at the ball of my foot, but now fine! But does any one else feel they are a wee bit HOT!!!!!!! I don't know if it is so hot here today or what! But my feet were a wee bit ummmm sweaty! YUCK! never had that problem with the Teva's!

I received my two pairs the other day and have been wearing them ever since. They are very comfortable and I think they would do just fine with a day at the parks.

I like them because they can get wet and they will dry quickly. Where are my leather Teva's stay wet for awhile.

Just received my sandals and gave them a test run. They feel very comfortable and I think they will do well for long walks at WDW. My mother happened to be over and she saw them and tried them on. She liked them so much that she had me order all the colors for her and I ordered another pair for myself. And S/H for all of them is only $3.95.

I got mine today and wore them for a bit. They seem very comfortable. Not the most beautiful sandals but great for WDW.

I may just order a pair too, if it isn't too late! I like Lands End clothing, they generally have high quality, and lots of sizes to choose from. :)

I must be the only one who didn't get the right fit :(

Does anyone in central NJ want a pair of black size 7?
