Hello all
I am curious this is my first trip and i am wondering how long would it take me to drive from Home to the Fort. I am about 40 mins north of the I81 border crossing. I would be travelling with my 32 ft travel trailer. This would be the first time i attend the Fort and from reading on this forum and talking to others that have been there it seems like a beautiful spot to relax.
Thanks for any info and help possible
Andre & Johanne.

Let's see, travel time from Canada to the Fort? I'd give myself about 20 minutes to go from Canada to the monorail platform, assuming you can avoid MouseGear. Allow 20-30 minutes wait and travel time to TTC. Hop either the MK monorail and get off at MK and walk to the docks or hop the resort monorail and walk to the Contemporary dock. Give 20 minutes. Wait for the boat and traverse the lake to Fort Wilderness, maybe 20 minutes. Viola, less than 90 minutes from Canada to Fort Wilderness! What? That's not what you meant?! LOL

We drive from Kingston ON, about 25 min from the 1000 Island crossing in a 33 ft motorhome. The actual drive time is 23 hours, we make 3 stops on the way. The first night we stop in Harrisburg PA, the second night is Wytheville VA, and the third night is Walterboro SC.. We have our favorite places to stop. One year we were trying to beat a winter storm home and drove straight through from Wytheville, we took turns driving that trip, but usually my DH does most of the driving.

We drive from Cortland NY which is off I81 South of Syracuse, and with only stopping for gas and meals, it takes us about 22 hours.
I don't recommend it, unless you have multiple drivers.
